MAthiAS 10-26-2004 05:14 PM

Oh yeah Rattlehead and Skull Beneath the Skin... I would LOVE to hear those!

anykey11 10-26-2004 05:14 PM

Megadeth has what Metallica use to have.

Five Magics 10-26-2004 05:18 PM

I wish they played Good mourning/Black Friday, Five Magics, Ashes In your Mouth, Countdown to Extinction, 99 Ways To Die, Dread and The Fugitive Mind......oh well, I cant complain, and I cant wait! 3 weeks tonight!

PoliticallyIncorrectMetalhead 10-26-2004 06:14 PM

Anyone figure out where Nick Menza went?

Yeah seriously, can't complain too much. Its fuccking Megadeth we'd be there for days if they played all their good songs.
Oh yeah Rattlehead and Skull Beneath the Skin... I would LOVE to hear those!
those along with Last Rites (loved to deth) would be perfect...I dont see that happeneing though. It makes you wonder why he plays over half of the same songs every tour when so many other fan favourites are always ommited.

YDload 10-26-2004 07:57 PM

Who is the one repeating Dave's lines toward the end of "Five Magics?" The one who says "Possessed with hellish torment" and "I master magics five." Is that Dave again?

tehfilter 10-26-2004 08:35 PM

would i be a retard to see them alone

Good question, I would think that it would be Dave. Do you have the Remixed/remastered Rust in Peace?, It might tell you about it in the book, I have the original so im not sure.

Shred Danson 10-27-2004 09:09 AM

I just want to know...who the **** plays on the new Megadeth record, besides Dave?

Ubershrift 10-27-2004 09:19 AM

umm jim martin and tom delonge

acefrehleyjendell 10-27-2004 09:33 AM
Thanks man I would have hoped those last two albums were going to be new material, but, what can you do.....I knew he said Megadeth was retiring after TSHF tour and I also heard that those last two he owes will probably be an acoustic live show they did in Toronto from 2000 and perhaps Capitol Punishment Part II.
yeah will probably be sanctuary of enslavement or something like that lol.

isnt it funny though that sanctuary gets metal bands that come from other labels, Black Sabbath, KISS, MEGADETH.
I just want to know...who the **** plays on the new Megadeth record, besides Dave?
From the Megadeth website:

Dave Mustaine - Lead Vocals, Lead, Rhythm and Acoustic Guitars
Glen Drover - Lead and Rhythm Guitars
James MacDonough - Bass Guitar
Shawn Drover - Drums

EDIT: That's the touring line up I think, on the record it's Dave, Chris Poland, Jimmy Sloas on bass and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums.

No, you'd be a retard if you didn't see them

I'm preety sure it is just a voice distorter and Dave does it.

MAthiAS 10-27-2004 02:17 PM
I'm preety sure it is just a voice distorter and Dave does it.
Yeah, because it does sound like Dave.

YDload 10-27-2004 02:47 PM

"Voice distorter?" I think Dave just has a knack for making funny voices, now that I think about it.

Isaacsass89 10-27-2004 04:01 PM

did anybody go to any of the other dates? was the setlist any different than opening night?

MAthiAS 10-27-2004 05:15 PM

Fair point.

Was about to ask the same question.

Hello Droogs.

I believe I haven't posted in a while.

Five Magics 11-08-2004 08:54 PM

This is straight from Megadeth.com:

To All Droogies everywhere,

I was there, and I was involved in the decision making process with Nick and Dave of replacing Megadeth's drummer.
Nick knew that there was not a lot of time to get prepared for the tour, but he still tried to pull it off. Sadly, he was not prepared for the physical demands of a Megadeth show, and as all Droogies know, Megadeth is not some wimpy top 40 band that walks on a stage and gives a half-assed show.
This is why Nick knew Megadeth had to make this decision. Nick was actually involved in the discussion of bringing Shawn Drover into the camp.
Dave worked very hard with Nick to make this all happen, but it just was not coming together and time was running out to get this tour off the ground, so the change was made for the band and for you the fans. Dave did the right thing.
So to all Droogies throughout the world, MEGADETH IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!

See you on the road.
