Morning all! It's Friday, and I get to go home at lunchtime today...

But on the other hand, I have to drive 100 miles and back to pickup my car and pay for the repairs. :upset: AND I have to get ready for having a garage sale tomorrow... :eek:

BUT our hot tub is up and running! YAY! I think that cancels out any possible badness. ;)

Not very big. Its a little soft-sided standalone unit, about 5 ft wide and 3 ft deep. Great for two, okay for three, its a squeeze for four (not a problem if you don't mind being close, :lol: ). But its GREAT!

lol class, my friend has one and its like a pool we were all diving into it at 3 in the morning and his parents wer'nt best impressed

Last night my 2 dogs were fighting, a pit bull and a mastiff, and whenever they fight, my stepdad always gets in the middle and breaks them up. So last night he went to do what he always does and the pit bull accidentally bit his hand. Right when she did that she immediately calmed down because she knew what she did was wrong. However, the bite was pretty bad, my stepdad has 4 holes in his hand from the teeth, one of them actually punctured a vein. He bled a lot, but he will be okay.
It was messed up, but now he knows how bad a bite from a pit bull is.

Uh, bad stuff...

Where do you live? A lot of countries start banning 'fightdogs' or at least have a lot of laws to make them unattractive. Just curious.

We live in Toronto, one of the places (well, all of Ontario) that is trying to ban pit bulls. :p

We've had her since she was 3 months old though, and she's around 5 or 6 years old now.



Edit: I'm not sure about the rest of Canada and their stance on pit bulls, I only know about what's been happening around here.

Especially here in Germany it got a bit out of control (speaking of laws) in terms of big dogs. After quite a few incidents appeared in the news, where Pitbulls and similar dogs attecked kids and stuff, the government was very hasty in passing laws to pacify the common scream about "You have to do something!" Some of the regulations are stupid... really stupid.

But I must confess they are not my type of dogs anyways. I love Labrador Retrievers (yes, the Lycos dog. Ours died last year... :() and similar ones. My parents now have a 'Berner Sennen' Mountain dog. (I don't know the english name) One giant dog, I'm about 1,84m tall, and his shoulders are higher than my knees :amaze:

we have a welsh collie - shes about 10 years old
and a german shepard pup - not too sure how old - under a year though

It's sad when pets die. :(

The thing is that people always say how dangerous pit bulls are, but really, all dogs can be dangerous.
They purposely report on the news when a pit bull bites a person, but when it's any other dog they just say it was a 'dog attack'. They just always try to make them look all evil when they're really just like any other dog.

ouch sorry to hear that man hope it gets better, and i did my english exam today and screwed it up :(

yea its pretty painfull...its startin to peel but i dont know if thats a sign of improvment or if ive taken a turn for the worse :upset:

in my past experience when it starts to peel it means its getting better, just remember to keep aplying plenty of moisturiser to it :thumb:
