Happy Sunday morning.
Hardly. I have a headache and I am sore everywhere. But it was a fun party, and very worth the pain afterwards. There was so much love going around last night, and I'd like to think it wasn't from the weed.:)
This is a smart man right here.

In other news, I finally figured out a uniform way to tag my classical music. Composer in the artist and conductor or symphony as the album with the movements or movement names as the title.

Though this only matters to me because I'm obsessed with having my files correctly tagged. Even when I only have a little classic. All 9 Beethoven symphonies and 5 pieces by Stravinsky.
Add me to your soulseek. Speaking of which, what is your Soulseek anymore? You're never in hubub, for reasons I can probably figure out myself.

coheneran 05-14-2006 08:54 AM

Liebensaft 05-14-2006 09:07 AM

They're with their mothers.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 05-14-2006 09:24 AM

I'll be with my mother in about a half hour. I'm enjoying my none-mother time right now.

Liebensaft 05-14-2006 09:56 AM

Definitely. Gross.

coheneran 05-14-2006 10:17 AM

It's not as bad as something I did last night.

ibanezman575 05-14-2006 10:49 AM

coheneran 05-14-2006 10:50 AM

POINTLESS5448 05-14-2006 12:35 PM

i got drunk and played laser tag last night. it was intense.

Liebensaft 05-14-2006 12:41 PM

I made and used a vaporizer last night. It was also intense.

coheneran 05-14-2006 12:49 PM

I smoked lots of hash and a bit of shroom tea (not enough to trip, but it was nice) with the friends I love most and we just sat there listening to PJ Harvey, David Bowie and Violent Femmes and drawing and playing cards and hugging and generally loving each other immensely. It was also intense.

Danger Bird 05-14-2006 12:54 PM

I burned a CD last night. Not so intense.

obese_breasts 05-14-2006 12:57 PM

I had an intense time with my girlfriend last night, it was amazing.

Flagjacket 05-14-2006 12:59 PM

Who made the crazy soundtrack for Clockwork Orange?

Brain Toad 05-14-2006 01:58 PM
Who made the crazy soundtrack for Clockwork Orange?
Walter Carlos composed the classical arrangements on synthesizer. He originally wrote the soundtrack based off the book, then Kubrick used his songs on the movie soundtrack. He is now a she though and is known as Wendy Carlos.

She has also done synthesizer versions of Bach songs called Switched-on-Bach. And many other synthezier albums. She was one of the first people to use the Moog.

SantaDuJuan 05-14-2006 02:03 PM

Oh my God, I really want to hear her other albums.

Edit: What is a Moog?

Brain Toad 05-14-2006 02:07 PM

It's a type of syntheizer that is widely used now.

Carlos is amazing and so is that soundtrack. First vinyl I ever bought, but I didn't get to listen to it until recently because my record player was broken when I bought the record. It was really amazing on record.

I have Switched-on-Bach on SLSK, as well as the oringinal soundtrack that wasn't used in the movie.
