Gawd, I am so bored.... And the stoopid freaking carpet guy didn't show up today, so I STILL can't play because there's no carpet in the studio...

How come no carpet = no play?

Because everything is currently in short term storage in my laundry room and there is nowhere else for me to set it up where I wouldn't have to tear it down and put it BACK in the laundry room. It would just be too much of a pain and make too much noise (kiddos need to sleep, you know).

OH man I'm listeing to Brujeria right now. They are a Death metal band that has a spanish singing vocalist, its pretty funny when you don't know any spanish. Its more of a concept band and they pretend to be mexican though.

The very fact that I HAVE no carpet.... is another rant entirely. I hate it when people a) waste your time and b) flat out LIE not once, not twice, but THREE times regarding their intent to actually SHOW UP.

Actually, we do have carpet... its just in rolls on the freaking floor! *angry*

As soon as my kids are in bed I am *so* breaking out the Jagermeister and having a few shots. There's no decent bands in town, a bunch of my friends are in Vegas without me, and I'm pissed off about the carpet. I'm gonna drink.

Had a great day today. Need a new amp reallllly bad. Parents credit card (that we use for pretty much everything) is maxed out (200 bucks over the limit, actually), so I gotta wait till this friday to grab my power amp off someone.

Bummer. My day pretty much was a loss, due to an inconsiderate, lying MOFO of a carpet installer. But I've ranted about that enough. I'm gonna go put my kids to bed, make myself a drink, and then I'll be back in a few. You better still be here, young man... ;)

I will. Girlfriend had to go so I have pretty much nothing to do now. :p

Anywho... hubby and I actually went out briefly on Tuesday night to see The Black Mollys play (their bassist Dan and the hubby graduated from high school together; Dan's a great guy and burned me a copy of their CD about a month back). Not very complicated, but catchy.

I've had a line writing problem. I have this sort of arpeggiated way of writing slower type riffs. (a la Stu Hamm's Love Thang, which is how I got used to doing the **** thing! GRR)
