Nihilist (Swe) invented the word ANYONE ELSE USING IT IS COPYING THEM.
|
ur kerayzay coke, cleary Neechuh invented that word.
|
my new indie rock band will be called nihilist
|
If you choose that name you are required to break up and then re-form without the fattest member.
|
can I ask you guys a (sort of) serious question?
why does it matter what thread a discussion takes place in if every member is in every thread? That's like saying, "We can discuss death metal in the living room, but not the kitchen. The kitchen is reserved for black metal discussion." Y'all are livin' in the same house; who cares where anything is brought up? Maybe it's just 'cuz I'm new, but it seems kind of stupid... |
uhh...
people go to different threads for different discussions |
Nihilist lives about 2 minutes away from me, and pretty much everyone loves them around here.

Nearly every time I've gone to the Jumping Turtle, they were playing. Yeah, I've noticed they have a pretty big local following. I can't stand them, though I'll be honest their covers or Black Metal, Ghost of War and Chemical Warfare are enjoyable. Anyway... death metal. Lately, I've been liking Eaten Back to Life a lot. |
i have basically abandoned death metal in the last two weeks.
somebody suggest some good shit. |

no i'm not forcing anything. i just haven't really listened to any death metal at all for the last two weeks.
like, there's nothing new. here's what i listen to most of the time: pestilence dismember entombed disincarnate demigod morbid angel etc. i'm looking for newer stuff that i haven't heard basically. |
Because we don't want sex in the living room.
Oh yes we do. |
 What would the neighbors think?
|
They'd want in.
Anyway, Death Metal. I picked up On Demon Wings and Curses by Misery the other week. Both have been pretty fukking good in my eyes. Anyone else a fan? |

They'd think their neighbors were gay. All right, I guess I see what ya mean, though I don't think anybody should freak out if something a little off topic comes up. By the way, can you get on all fours so I can make a sandwich on your back? |

I'm just going to list a few other death metal bands, you've probably listened to these guys too: Impaled Massacra Nihilist (Sweden) Unleashed Autopsy Atheist Evil Incarnate Obituary |
Reactivated British extreme legends CARCASS have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place July 31 - August 2, 2008 in Wacken, Germany. Also scheduled to appear are IRON MAIDEN (headliners), CHILDREN OF BODOM, AVANTASIA, KREATOR and SONATA ARCTICA.
Commented CARCASS bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker: "Well, they said it would never happen. In fact I said it would never happen. Then I noticed no one pays attention to what I say anyway and I sounded like an idiot... "Summer 2008 will be the twentieth anniversary since the release of CARCASS' first studio album. It will be fourteen years since we last played live. "We've decided to exhume the old corpse next summer at Wacken. The timing is purely coincidental — it's been a long journey to get to this point where myself, Bill Steer [guitar] and Mike Amott [guitar; also of ARCH ENEMY] have enough common desire again to make it possible. We're finally conceding to the demand that seems to be at an all time high and doesn't appear to be going away any time soon. Any past reasons we may have had for not wanting to do it, or thinking it was impossible, have simply dissipated in the face of overwhelming interest in us performing THOSE riffs for a generation of believers who never had the opportunity back in the day. We could say we're doing it for 'the kids' — but **** that ! We're doing it 'cos it will be fun again to play the classic CARCASS tunes!! "Of course, it would seem inappropriate for us to contemplate to do this without Ken Owen [drums], but I assure you he'll be there, and we'll push some sticks in his hands and make him play, plus we'll have a killer drummer to sit in and play HIS parts. "Myself, Jeff Walker on bass and vocals, 'the semi-legendary' Bill Steer and Mike Amott on lead guitar and Daniel Erlandsson [ARCH ENEMY], filling in for Ken on drums look forwards to mutilating your hearing. "And if we don't do it? Who else will overshadow the LED ZEPPELIN reunion? "Ha! "Prepare to rot and roll."
w00t |
**** that's cool
