So, I just saw the "In Your Face' Video and realised Liaho cut his hair. Its a while since I ventured in the world of COB.Who's their new guitarist, Did they dicide to stick with Roope? And their keyboardist looks different is he the sameone?

It's still Roope. It's the same keyboardist.

Which CoB songs are easiest to play on guitar?

To give a idea of my skill level,

I can play the following easy-no problem

Slayer-Raining Blood
Slayer-Bloodline
Arch Enemy-Nemisis
Children of Bodom-needled 24/7

I've tried "Sixpounder", but couldn't get the rythm.

I've only learned two Bodom riffs; the openings to Bodom After Midnight and Bed Of Razors. Neither were all too hard.

I've learned parts of Black Widow and Needled 24/7 today.

I know the intro's of Downfall,lake Bodom and Bed of Razors. I dont practice much bodom stuff.

I've learnt most of the rhythm to Silent Night, Bodom Night.

I ain't touchin' the leads :D

Yeah, I tried that once. I fayled.

I don't want to play something unless I play the leads.

Thats why I like needed 24/7. It sounds really good but isn't too hard.

the last time i tried to play needled 24/7 was a year ago, and i failed. meanwhile i got better and i think i should try it once again.... its only fast, thats all ;)

I learnt Silent Night, Bodom Night in about 30 minutes yesterday. Its not very hard imo. Bed Of Razors would be the easiest Bodom song to play.

You people are forgetting Everytime I Die and Angels Don't Kill. To be brutally honest, I doubt most people could actually play Needled 24/7 perfectly as it is on the record. Same goes with Silent Night, Bodom Night. I've heard too many people brag about how they can play certain song then then when I watch them, I can't help but :lol:. I don't really think CoB are an "easy" band, every song has it's trickier moments, including Bed of Razors.

i agree... bed of razors is one of their easiest song, but even the intro has its hard parts, especially with the picking hand...

Also the solo, I've never really tryed it but by looking at the alternate picked arpeggios with finger barring and position shifts, it makes it hard to believe that most people can play it [b]perfectly[/b].

i don't have problems not playing [B]perfectly[/B]. Alexi Laiho is my guitar-idol and i love his style! he's my inspiration and i don't mind if i can't play it exactly... i only wanna play his songs :D

Ah fair enough man, I'm a bit of a perfectionist and it if doesn't sound exactly like the record, I'll get depressed and carry on trying. Just imagine how I get when trying to imitate Paul Gilbert and Jason Becker.

Not forgetting the 5 string sweeps before the solo in BoR.

I just watched the needled 24/7 vid for the first time EVER!! and all i can say is AWESOME! i dont care if Alexi doesnt like the video i loved it, i want to touch his hair lol

It's because when you have long ones (user titles that is...) it makes the screen go wider for everyone so they only let you have a certain amount of characters to prevent it...I think.

Becker was obviously deprived as a child...his parents locked him in his room and refused to let him come out until he played his guitar for 24 hour straight.
