The Title track is indeed amazing. One of my favorite chorus's ever too. Also, what gives it bonus points is the fact that Hansi guests int eh song

I love the part where he comes in and shows his Hansiness.

Tyler 02-28-2007 08:54 PM

I don't really care for Hansi. I'm totally indifferent.

Stormrider 02-28-2007 08:55 PM

Pfft. You like Blind Guardian though ?

Tyler 02-28-2007 08:56 PM

Yeah

Stormrider 02-28-2007 08:57 PM

Ah okay then. I got scared, there :p

I mean, I would still love the song if Hansi didn't appear in it. I just like the part where he sings, heh.

Riva 02-28-2007 10:27 PM

Europe was the most power metal non-power metal band ever.

Deth 03-01-2007 08:07 PM

I had the synth line to "The Final Countdown" stuck in my head for a whole weekend about a month ago. So good.

Stormrider 03-01-2007 08:29 PM

Heh, that song is so cool.

Tyler 03-09-2007 06:54 PM

Have you guys heard Black Majesty? This album is so great.

Shattered_Future 03-09-2007 08:49 PM

Black Majesty is alright in my book. LMP puts out very good music.

Lord Abortion 03-10-2007 03:55 AM

Is everyone rubbing their hands (and possibly cocks) in glee in anticipation of the new Sonata album and hopefully tour?

Shattered_Future 03-10-2007 09:14 AM

September 30th for me.

Stormrider 03-10-2007 09:53 AM

Meh...Sonata.

I'm relistening to Rhapsody's Symphony of Enchanted Lands for the second time right now. Better then I remembered it to be. It's actually pretty cool. Except for the fact that the title track is 7 minutes instead of 13...

Lord Abortion 03-12-2007 03:14 AM

The reluctance of most power metal bands to tour England properly is frustrating... I mean...are Manowar coming here for example?

No, about 20 dates in Germany and about 5 in the ****ing Czech Republic for ****'s sake!

Riva 03-12-2007 03:29 AM

They need to keep their European tour cred going.

"Hey, I heard you guys were playing in London?!"

"What, London? Nooo, you must mean Lublin, in Poland. Yeah... big power metal community there. Like 200 fans of the music, at least."

Lord Abortion 03-12-2007 05:44 AM

London sucks anyway. It has a measurement, cpsi
I'll leave you to work it out.

(hint, first word has four letters)

Seriously though, PM bands have this big problem with touring England, Manowar are all well and good for hailing England, but when it comes to actually playing here...

Apocalyptic Raids 03-12-2007 09:04 AM

chavs per square inch?

pate 03-12-2007 12:57 PM

Corn peels scream insanity?

i think blind guardian are playing bloodstock, but i guess festivals don't count

pate 03-13-2007 12:21 PM

Man, I just found out that Winters Bane is playing the same night as the Chicago Powerfest I'm going to...at 10pm. Atheist comes on at Powerfest at 10:30. I'm so pissed. Winters Bane is one of my absolute favorites.

Shattered_Future 03-13-2007 12:58 PM

Well, who would you rather see then? Atheist or Winter's Bane?

Stormrider 03-13-2007 01:42 PM

There's probably more chances in the future that Wintersbane will be touring more then Atheist...

Riva 03-13-2007 06:17 PM

Yeah, I'd go to Atheist over Winter's Bane.

FatalEnergy 03-13-2007 06:20 PM

Anyone here heard of Scariot?

Really cool Power/Thrash with Steve D on bass.

pate 03-13-2007 06:29 PM

Mike, Jammie, Jason: I know, that's no doubt the decision I'm making, but it's still pissing me off.

ArcLite 03-13-2007 06:32 PM

That sucks man. I'd probably have to go to Winters Bane despite the rarity of seeing Athiest.

pate 03-13-2007 06:37 PM

This is supposedly Atheist's last Midwest show ever, and one of their last four or five period. The press release said Kelly's retiring the band forever after these last few shows.

I hadn't seen any Winters Bane dates in a long time, so I didn't think they toured much.

Riva 03-13-2007 06:39 PM

Yeah, but you also like to think about ****. I can prove it, I have the photographic evidence.

Lord Abortion 03-14-2007 03:14 AM
chavs per square inch?
It was cunts, but same difference.

Apocalyptic Raids 03-14-2007 03:27 AM

yeah that was the other option i was considering

sif there's even a choice to be made. Atheist is a once in a lifetime chance!
