I'm home from my bass lesson and I bring a keyboard with me.

So I'm acting as a courier - a friend of mine is selling an acoustic 12-string guitar to another friend of mine. The two of them have never met, and live in different ends of the country, so when I go home from Uni, I shall be taking it with me.

That was the plan, but friend A ran out of money, so what actually happened is that I bought it from him, and I shall sell it on to friend B later on.

Long story short, I have a 12-string acoustic guitar for the next couple of weeks. It's fun. And surprisingly easy to throw together a good sounding line with a few very simple chords. Annoyingly easy, actually.

Annoyingly easy? That's an interesting one :p. How so?

Do you mean how like you end up making heaps of songs and then confuse them and forget bits and end up playing two at once and stuff like that?

Maybe he means that he keeps coming up with these awesome songs, but they are really easy to make up, and he's getting sick of them being so easy, and everytime he trys making a harder one it turns out bad. Who knows?

I meant as a comparison to bass. Making basslines that stand alone can be tricky, it's much easier to make a bassline to fit an existing piece of music. By contrast, it's really shockingly easy to make a lead line on guitar.

Not that that's surprising at all.
