I am! I hate going to work, all I want to do is stay home and PLAY!

I'm not up to much, watching TV. Played a covers set tonight at a hotel as part of my music course, now I'm just chilling.

Cool how did it go, what songs did you play?

It went much better than last night did :).

We played songs chosen by the singers, so the set list went like this:

"I Am" - Killing Heidi
"How Far Is Heaven?" - Los Lonely Boys
"Road Leads Where It's Lead" - The Secret Machines
"With Arms Wide Open" - Creed
"Breathing" - Yellowcard
"Roadhouse Blues" - The Doors

Yeah it was great fun, the other musicians and singers were great and it was nice to have no amp problems onstage tonight :).

Then slow it down, do 8th notes, or practice and play faster :)

Good thing about today = Amy
Bad things about to day = too much walking, Soundcontrol still being inept, and people on forums who get high and mighty when you mod their thread. Chuffing hell, he's a nice intelligent guy, but he has too much self righteousness, and a seeming hatred for authrotiy figures ie Moderators... :(

actually i could do it on one string with two handed tapping
currently this is the riff;

S S E (sixteenth, sixteenth, eigth)

Hey all...has anyone here ever tied to play "Achilles last Stand" ???....what bass is he using it sopunds funny, as if it were an octave bass or something of the sort.....anyway, it is musch tougher than I tought.

Why not tap it on one string then?

Does no one understand how awesome working in an arcade will be???

it will be an octave bass as it was jpj - probably a 12 string ocatve bass (6 pairs not 4 triples)

well its dadg tuning so i would be tapping
D-1h8h13-- and i can do it but its one hell of a stretch - and i can then get back to normal playing style quick enough for the next bit

he is well known for using a 12 string bass in that format - dean bass - rotosound strings
