pixiesfanyo 09-05-2007 01:41 AM

I'd imagine Aesop Rock being really terrible live.

Anxious 09-05-2007 02:04 AM
Anxious is ANXIOUS about meeting people from the internets.

A Dead Modernist 09-05-2007 02:07 PM

Anus Invader 09-05-2007 02:38 PM

AlienEater 09-05-2007 03:49 PM

The only show I'm going to in the not distant future is Yo La Tengo doing the Sounds of Science. Could be good

masada 09-05-2007 05:36 PM

dei 09-05-2007 05:40 PM

I was invited to see Built to Spill. Should I go? It's $18.

Glitterati 09-05-2007 05:55 PM

Yes, but wear sunglasses so you don't get blinded by the lights shining off Doug Martsch's chrome dome.

Anus Invader 09-05-2007 06:13 PM

Built to Spill put on an awesome show when i saw them.. definitely go

The Jungler 09-05-2007 06:18 PM
While Blonde Redhead are pretty awesome live, I would say Mission of Burma, based on the fact that they won't be around as much as Blonde Redhead. If you like 23 though, it could be a hard choice because they play a lot of songs off of that-- at least they did when I saw them a few weeks ago.
23 is okay, but not nearly as good as the two that preceded it.

I saw Blonde Redhead at Lollapalooza, so I'll probably end up going to Burma. I just need to d/l some of the newer stuff, all I have is Vs. and Signals, Calls and Marches.

Tangy zizzle 09-05-2007 06:36 PM

I have Die!Die!Die! gigs in October and trhats it. Outside of decent local gigs, NZ sucks for the next couple of months.

Anus Invader 09-05-2007 09:50 PM

Randy Described Eternity is an amazing song. also, back to 90's modern alt-rock

Third Eye Blind - s/t
Live - Throwing Copper

PshSam 09-05-2007 10:02 PM

Anus Invader 09-05-2007 10:04 PM

are you going to sleep to Music For Airports? i highly recommend this

YourBiggestFan 09-05-2007 10:40 PM

Has anyone here heard of Working For a Nuclear Free City?

If not, you should check them out. Really good kinda shoegazer/radiohead/dance type stuff. I know that referencing radiohead usually ends up in name calling, but really, they do sound like them. Scout's honor.
