I use iTunes btw, even before I had an iPod. I didn't use to like it... until they added cover flow. :p

Cover flow looks nice but is pretty useless.

Honestly I have never used playlists in my life.

Maybe I should start haha, but I'm so used to manually flipping through my stuff and choosing that it might feel weird.

Basically my playlists work like this:

0.01 (not yet on my iPod or recently added)
0.02 (freshly added to iPod but still new)
Queue (Stuff I wanted to add, sort and organize but need to give a solid listen when I have the chance)
Review (self explanatory)

Then I have random ones. Right now there's "ska!", "Fortress", "Rate" and "Pwn", which I constantly switch around to make CDs.

I have a couple of playlists, mostly just for OSTs and such.

I only use playlists when I get really hooked on an album so I put it on repeat and have it play over and over without having to go back and blick on the first song.

I use 1 playlist per day.

I use a playlists to keep track of new stuff I need to listen to and to make mixes or just burning CDs.

Most of the time Itunes comes with a recently added smart playlist but if yours doesn't have it you can make it yourself.
