you are the musicianforum eliminator, seriously.

Nostalgia 03-17-2008 04:06 PM

Regardless, Count Raven's vocals are too Ozzy-like to be enjoyable. With that said, I have been enjoying a few Slow Horse songs - pity I can't find an album anywhere. :(

pate 03-17-2008 04:13 PM

Never heard of Slow Horse. The reviews look good though.
Does anybody have the new Draconian album without the voice overs?
The album came out like a month ago. It's definately all over torrent sites and shiz.

They're still not doom, but I like them. New album especially...crushing production.

gmoneyguy 03-17-2008 06:15 PM

Sexing to At Giza would be awesome, js.

pate 03-17-2008 07:19 PM

I really need to hear this At Giza you ****ers keep jizzing over.

Nostalgia 03-17-2008 07:23 PM

Reading the lyrics along with it is the best part... since I really have no ****ing clue what is going on.

Iron Man (original MD doom, Hellhound Records)/Revelation/Pale Divine

\m/

Nostalgia 03-18-2008 04:52 PM

Pale Divine would be cool.

pate 03-18-2008 04:53 PM

Best lineup ever.

I'll be seeing Testament and Suidakra that night.

ATM 03-18-2008 05:11 PM

I talked to a guy who told me Pale Divine get the STRONGEST weed ever.

Nostalgia 03-18-2008 05:32 PM

I think Cimmerian Codex is my favorite Solstice song now, although that whole album is awesome. That song in specific is perfect, though.

Axiom abhorent, protean triumvirate
They were doin' in before OM was.

pate 03-18-2008 05:34 PM

My favorite from that album is either that or the first track.

It's hard to think the vocalist of Solstice was in that band when they were active.

Eliminator 03-18-2008 05:52 PM

its hard to think the vocalist of solstice could get any gayer

pate 03-18-2008 06:00 PM

Quit being a fag Austin

Nostalgia 03-18-2008 06:06 PM

Haha, what? You like them? I have never listened, but those outfits are pretty unforgivable.

pate 03-18-2008 06:25 PM

I have no idea what the band is, but I really don't give a **** what outfits they wear for a promo pic.

That's the new vocalist. He's not sang on anything yet. As far as I know none of the other vocalists have ever worn velvet.

And the best song on New Dark Age is definitely Hammer of Damnation follwed by Cromlech.

Jondur 03-19-2008 03:44 AM

Here's a tip for those of you who enjoy doom in the style of The Obsessed : Iron Hearse.

I got one of their demos a few years ago and it was really good and I did a gig with them when I was in The River which was also great. But then they just dropped off my radar as real life interrupted my quest for doom. In the meantime it seems they've released an album and sound ace. Check them out!
I'll be seeing Testament and Suidakra that night.
Lee shut the **** up already. I'd kill to see Testament. I have a The New Order shirt isn't that good enough!?

pate 03-19-2008 10:33 AM

Yes, since I'm wearing my TNO shirt right now.

Nostalgia 03-19-2008 12:31 PM

You like guys Solomon Kane? I just got The Dread and it's pretty good... pity it's only one song though.

Txus 03-19-2008 12:32 PM

They were pretty rad, yes.
