I have turned to the color side!!

Anyways, my favourite Cream album has to be, right now, Disraeli Gears.

But it might change, depending on the mood I am.

I think I should get the Malcolm avatar and divide it in half, one color and one black and white, although im not sure if that is even possible..

BludgeonySteve 09-25-2004 06:26 PM
Malcom, you sold out. Now it's just me rocking the colored avatar.

Anyways, What is your favorite Cream Album? Obviously there were only 3 studio albums but I think they are all great, so I'm interested in hearing what you think. Give a reason why its your favorite.
You either conform or leave and go to the punk forum

My favorite is Wheels of Fire. Just because it has better songs than the other albums.

slowhand 09-25-2004 06:31 PM

I turned back to my Clapton avatar. Sorry...

Anyways, I didn't even say why is Disraeli Gears my favourite right now.

Well, it's just that's the one in the middle, when they really got to know each other and were still getting along. And you can hear that on the album. Also, this album was made in a short period of time (the myths say only 3 days) and you can almost feel the tracks being live. I also find it funny the last number, 'Mother's Lament.' It also has "Sunshine of Your Love" there, Cream's signature song, and the first experimentation with the wah-wah pedal (Cream's album was delayed several months, and Hendrix released his first using the wah-wah in some songs after hearing "Tales of Brave Ulysses" by Cream in a demo, so everyone thought that the first artist to use the pedal was Hendrix).

Anyways, its a well rounded album, and that's why it's good.
