Just had a gig today with my alt/grunge band. It was pretty fun, got my drums micced up though didn't get a chance to hear how they sounded (I was on stage afterall) and also first gig with monitors. Makes things so much easier.

the crowd sucked, people don't like getting into music in this city (Portland OR) period. There was like 10-15 people in the crowd, but there were red and blue lights on my set, it looked so sick!

EDIT: We played a 40 minute set, 7 songs, and we opened for 3 other bands, didn't stay for the other bands, otherwise i'd still be there (we played from 9 to 9:40, its 11:30 right now)

you need to have 1000 rep and 1500 post for the stars to show. the stars dont show until you hit 1500 so you had 1000 rep just not all the post you needed. 4 stars is 3500 posts and 5 stars is mod

I believe it's less than 3500 aswell because I saw somone today with less and they had 4 stars.

Ever since I got my starts I've been repping some people it's great fun and I only - repped one. For ever - rep i like to + rep 2 people :cool:

Might possibly be. One day I want to be a mod :p but I plan on learning a lot more about drums before i go that far.

Ya it isn't less than 3000 cuz I have almost 3000 but only 3 stars. Well today we had a pretty good practice for the first time in a long time. We finished up a sond and only need one more part for a different song to make our selection 9 fully finished songs.

Awesome man I wish I was in a band who wrote songs. We have guitar bass and me drummer, but none of us can sing and we are too shy lol. We need to find a singer and get serious. Any audio on some of those songs man?? i'd love to hear some.

Well everyone i'm off to bed its 12:45 here in BC Canada.

Oh it was amazing!. The trews started and they were really good too. Except the bassist who was truely emo and didn't get into it at all. The Strange sensation were great. Everyone was into it and from where we were you could tell Plant was enjoying it. But then again it could of sucked *** and i just remember it being great from all the inhalents.
