I don't know if you have any Jethro, but in case you don't Aqualung is a must have. After that I like This Was, or maybe Stand Up.

All I can find of Steve Miller is the greatest hits. I'm not a fan of greatest hits but it might be my only option unless I plan to order a CD offline.

Woodstock 10-14-2004 07:31 PM

Albums:

Steve Miller Band-Fly Like An Eagle
The Kinks-Lola vs. The Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part 1
CCR-Cosmo's Factory

Best of??? It may seem kinda lame, but you would probably get a pretty good selection. I picked it up for 8$.

Cerebrus69 10-14-2004 07:37 PM

Have you got anything to contribute or not?

magicbus 10-14-2004 07:39 PM

Yea I can't find Aqualung anywhere. I check every used cd store I go to. Must be cause nobody wants to sell it.

EDIT: Yea Achilles is good. Sorry :upset:

That's weird, it's a very popular record.

Used though. Like people who don't like it sell it to them. I'll probably just go to Best Buy this weekend. I gotta pick up Who's Next and Fragile anyways.

Its hard to find good used albums, especially popular ones.

well if its not in any CD store u try internet at all? that really the only other alternative i see other than going door to door asking if they are willing to sell their CD but i sugest the former

USED cds i mean, u could find that CD new anywhere.

Cerebrus69 10-14-2004 07:57 PM
That sounds like a good weekend, in terms of new music.
Yea I have The Who greatest hits (don't kill me), and one scratched. So I decided its time to get Who's Next. And Fragile is just because I've been listening to live Yes a lot, and I love it. Good music right there.

And I don't hate Motley Crue, I just don't like them.

Haha, greatest hits are usually the easiest and most econical way to get into a new band. If you have the money, I strongly recommend you buy the Who Live At Leeds 2-disc set. You have to shell out 30$, but it's the best money I have ever spent on a CD. Then again, Who's Next is top notch as far as their studio material. I just prefer the Who live.

magicbus 10-14-2004 08:17 PM

I've heard that album. Definently a worthy investment.

Yea, and you get almost all of Tommy perfomed live on the second disc.
