I think once I do the remix album I'll do a bit of remixing/mastering of Pillar of Salt. I've been slowly going through and fixing up stuff for a while and I think releasing it in two parts suits it.

I'm going to venture that it's a DEP reference.

Yeah my mate has some and they're a lot of fun but I don't think I'll bother paying such a ridiculous amount yet for an instrument I wouldn't gig on.

For me it's an investment, cause my music is more recording oriented rather that gig oriented. I am in planning stages for some gigs though; they'll involve performance art and possibly fire, lol.

Haha yeah. It'd be nifty to record on but I think I may as well buy a real drum kit for half the price one day. I just want to start with a small one, kick, snare, hats, add cymbals and toms as I go.

I've got both [they're both real drum kits]. I'm going to buy a fancy accoustic kit end of the year.

To be realistic I won't actually be able to buy a drum kit until I own my own house so I may well never have one.
