I'm gonna bring up Decrepit Birth again. I was linked to their new music and it surprised the **** out of me. It's got an old-school tech death sound to it. Nothing faggy whatsoever.

I just got Angelcorpse-The Inexorable and I'm listening to it right now, it's great so far. It's surprisingly similar to Belphegor but is less refined and has a more oldschool death metal vibe going. Anyone else heard that release?

Adramelech - Psychostasia (has members of Demigod, it's pretty good stuff so far)
Demilich - Nespithe
Unleashed - Where No Life Dwells (i got this a long time ago, and underestimated it severely)
Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence
Crypt of Kerberos - World of Myth
Crematory - Denial/Transmigration
(two different bands, the first is from Sweden, the second Germany)

i highly recommend the Crypt of Kerberos to everyone, its death metal from Sweden but sounds nothing like Entombed/Unleashed/Dismember/Carnage etc. The guitarist got my attention on the first track, whoever it is is amazing.

I remember people used to ape over Crypt here a while back, but I never saw the big deal.

I really don't like that Unleashed album. I find it pretty boring tbh.

Both Across the Open Sea and Midvinterblot kinda bored me, I don't know if I have the patience to listen to more Unleashed albums.

For their time Demilich was amazing, but most of their songs are unmemorable and fail to leave any sort of impact on me. They're alright I guess.

The only thing that gets to me are the vocals, but I don't mind them most of the time.

I humbly recommend Depresy. Best way to describe them would be Symphonic Death Metal, except its not shitty. [I]Sighting[/I] is really really good.
