Funny, I have it 2nd period as well. I've had Geometry for the past three years now. Seems to be a pattern developing...

Three years? I could barely handle one. I just did my best to pass and get out of that class.

I don't hate that song, actually. It's not one of my favorites, but I do like it a lot. And the rest I only dislike because of the relative lack of coherency and lack of good transitions. Some of the riffs in "Black Rose Immortal" and "Advent" are ****ing outstanding, though.

I enjoy Morningrise a lot, don't get me wrong. I also from the very moment I got it didn't understand why people worshipped it so vehemently. Because let's face it, the compositional quality and tightness, the tightness of the band, and the production are all subpar.

Yeah, but I just have this gift in my head that automatically blocks out any form of education that has to do with mathematics.

Mr. Squiggles 06-01-2005 10:36 AM

Morningrise is a good album, but not their best. Orchid is probably my favorite Opeth album

superpeer 06-01-2005 10:36 AM
On the subject of yearbooks, I was incredibly pissed off that we didn't get one in our last year of sixth form. Traditionally, at our school, the upper sixth is the only form to get a yearbook, since it's an important year in their education. However, our head girl and a couple of her closest (female) friends decided it would be a fantastic idea to scrap the yearbook, and instead suggested to the head of sixth form that we should do..a tea-towel. You know, where everyone draws a picture of themselves and they're all printed up on a commemorative tea-towel; one of those things you do in the first couple of years of school, because you're six years old and it's fun and you don't know any better.

For one, a yearbook would have blown that out of the water (in terms of everything), but worse still, they expected us to pay some £12, each. For a fucking tea-towel.
I like how you emphasised the fact that they were female. :) Stupid girls.
that's weird. I don't get it :(
This is true, but the band wans't exactly having a great time even recording that album. I think it was good for the circumstances, if nothing else.

Heh, I know what you mean. I had possibly one of the worst teachers I have ever had as well for most of the year, she had just got out of colllege and had absolutly no idea how to handle a class full of teenagers. I learned next to nothing, but I think I still managed to pass my EOC...

Shred Danson 06-01-2005 10:43 AM

I'm pretty bad with some teachers, just because they are cunts to me. If I have a cool teacher, like I have in 4 or 5 classes this year, then I'll put a little more effort into my schoolwork.

The handwriting and presentation, yeah, but not really the rest. She (the head girl) was intelligent and attractive and generally pretty cool..she (and her friends) just made a really, really stupid decision this one time.

Is she scared too? If she's feeling the same tension as you, it might stress her out so much she'll miss it altogether. Did you have sex without protection? What happened exactly?

Because I was just fooling around with my gf before we left school, and we didn't have sex but...things happened...and we had our own pregnancy scare too. But she got her period eventually.

That's the thing, we ALWAYS use protection, she is ALWAYS on the pill, and we would even wait until the time of month when she is least-fertile.

She said she is scared right now, and it makes me feel like this is all my fault because she was a virgin until she met me. Her period is a week late so far.

It's imperitive that she relax. She may miss her period if she continues to stress. If she's still late by the end of the week, you should probably get a pregnancy test. :-/

Well. she just called and said she was looking online for information on late periods, and she read that if you stop taking the pill, your period may be late. And she just rescently stopped taking it, so I PRAY that is what it is.

Wow, what the hell.

Now she is mad at me for getting so freaked out about this.
