yep. as a matter of fact, i'm still rockin' the exports. i do plan on upgrading to yamaha beech custom abs nouveau at the end of summer.

if they still make the beech. rumor has they may stop production the beech, which will suck

i dare say i think my band is turning tech metal.

One of our songs is mainly in 17/8 with a break in it where we play:
guitar = 4 bars of 7/4
bass = 4 bars of 11/8 and one of 12/8
drums = 5 bars of 9/8 and one of 11/8

and another one of our songs has a part where it's in 4/4 with accents on 1, 2, e of 3, e of 4, e of 1 (second bar), e of 2, 3 and 4...It's so confusing...

then it goes into a part thats in 7/8...then it goes back to the 4/4 part but im still playing 7/8

lol its sick.

At my recent gig i got compliments that i play like a cross between danny carey and martin lopez...i've never gotten a better comment than that because they're my two fave drummers pretty much.

I gotta get some recordings up...after my next gig i'm gonna try and convince my band to start recording our other songs.

It feels so good when you pull it off.
