Yeah, I am :(
I love Howlin' Wolf, he rules. |
That's highly respectable. I know alot of kid's around here who don't even pay for there own strings. :thumb:
I paid for my **** with barmitzvah money. :jewy:
I'm listening to The Risk Taken now...let you know what I think in a few.
Outline what you like and I'll give a little list of some stuff to listen to. |
Yeah, I am :(
Nah, you still rule Adam. :-* |
Vince: Old school emo, screamo, and hardcore is NOT bad music...:D
I actually like this one pop-punk hardcore band called Set Your Goals...they rule! -Gav
Psh, so you say. :-*
Yeah, it's pretty bad stuff. I message Vince on soulseek and he messaged me staight away, it was scary.
I am god man, remember that <_< |
:D
Nice. I'd love to see SYG, but they aren't coming here any time soon. Actually, we get very few hardcore-type shows. :(
That sucks...I hear SYG is wicked good live. Yeah, we have a crapload of hardcore shows around here (I mean, come on...it's Boston. :p). I go to a lot of them but I usually head to the other side of the city near Somerville/Brighton/Arlington/Allston and go to the screamo shows. There's wayyy too many scene kids over there, though, because there's one huge venue over there (the ICC) where bands like From First to Last, Hawthorne Heights, He Is Legend, etc., play, so they're always there and it sucks walking by that place and hearing all the girls be like, "HEY CUTE SCENE BOY!" as I walk by and I'm just like, "I'm not scene" and I keep walking to see Sinaloa. :D http://www.myspace.com/sinaloa Local emo/indie what what! -Gav |
I paid for my **** with barmitzvah money.
:jewy:
Everytime I make a statement about needing money, a jewish friend of mine tells me to have a barmitzvah. Word, sounds like they rack in the bacon quite a bit. |
http://www.myspace.com/sinaloa Local emo/indie what what! -Gav
Those guys sound really good. I may have to look into their split with Ampere. |

Yeah, I have to...my parents don't give me a dime.
That's because you look like Commie :p Didn't your stomping ground used to be R&M? People don't expect people who look like you in R&M.
Everyone says that but I don't see it...the hair, sorta, yeah, but other than that, no way. Dude, I've never posted in R&M in my life. I post in the bass forum, pop-punk, hardcore/emo, site forum, and the mod forum...that's it. Mute Print: Oh, man, definitely do it...two amazing bands on one amazing split. It's KILLER. -Gav |

Dude, I've never posted in R&M in my life. I post in the bass forum, pop-punk, hardcore/emo, site forum, and the mod forum...that's it.
...I've been here for years and I've never seen you post here until recently. I saw you in post a thread in the pit when I first started, and I remembered you because you had a nifty skull avatar, and you were the same age/younger than me. You had a different name them, a play on your real name or something. I was one of the first dudes to post in hardcore/emo and I posted in there a few months after, and I never remember seeing you. Unless you didn't have an avatar at the time, in which case I remember you. And bleh at bass/site/mod. Oh well. |

Vince: You know you're jealous of my awesome taste on music. http://www.myspace.com/setyourgoals -Gav |
So my friend just IMed me all like "Man, I can't find these songs anywhere, can you help me?" SO I open up slsk and have both within 5 mins.
Needless to say he's downloading slsk now. |
Commie was a winner, I miss that bugger. I can only remember what he looks like vaguely but I don't know if he really looked like Gav.
I always said that Rancid Dan looked like Milo Aukerman from Descendents. |
He was cool until he moved out. Then he got all Underoath fan boy. |
Soulseek is amazing. My music collection would be tiny without it.
Hahahaha, Jon fails.
Mine wouldn't be tiny, but it'd be smaller and crtainly less obscure hehe. |
Soulseek is amazing. My music collection would be tiny without it.
Hahahaha, Jon fails.
You guys should go into the "allthehubub" room on soulseek. |
Mine wouldn't be tiny, but it'd be smaller and crtainly less obscure hehe.
Mine would be seriously tiny. I only have about 80 CDs, and if it weren't for Soulseek and MX, I would have never even bought half of those. :-\ |
Nonono, I'm not RockerGav...that's another Gavin.
I just started posting here in the last 2 months or so so I'm a n00b here. :thumb: -Gav
My head just exploded. How the **** are their two people in the world named Gavin who both do that silly "-Gav" thing at the end of their posts? Jesus. (At least I'm not mexican) |

I remember when he used to show me pics and there was this one pic of a friend of his who looked EXACTLY like a friend I had up this way. I really miss this place sometimes. I knew Gav from his avatar, and name in the bass forum. He's probably classed to being one of the untouchable's that each instrument forum has but I think I've seem him post in the pit. I was actually curious to how he made his way here and then I saw a pic and I was like  + :upset: :upset: <--- for old time's sake |

Haha, to be quite honest I don't even remember most of the Kelly Story anymore except for the important timeline features. She's living out on her own here now. We both carry mutual respect, and are friends. It could never be a Dan post without :upset: atleast twice and at the end. :upset: P.S. - It's hard to believe I joined this forum when I was 13 and I'm almost 18 now. |

Seriously. What the fuck? EDIT: Brian, I'm gunna rape you in the butt. EDIT2: Aww, that made me think of Ste and Seth /cries |

-Gav
"Dont tell and they won't ask" :smash: I don't really play bass anymore except for strengthening a specific finger for guitar. My girlfriend is a music major and her primary instrument is an upright. It's so weird when she tries to play my electric 4-string in an upright, and she does it pretty well for kicks. Most of my bass come's out of my subs in the trunk of my car though, these days. |
