I was never a fan of the baggy shorts and boot style. Haha, I am a jerk.

So I think I might go travelling on Christmas holidays. Hopefully sooner. I plan on saving up a bit of money and just going to other states. By train, bus, hitchhiking. Whatever really.

Any suggestions? Tips?

You don't need to, lol, save up! Strap a guitar to your back, buy the crimthinc Squatter's Handbook, make a couple of sandwiches, bring a bottle of water and hop on the next freight train/hitch the next ride out of town. That's what's awesome about America, you guys still have unsecured freight trains.

I was going to get some of those but the Dr. Martins store in my town didn't have my size, I got some 12 hole black ones that were on sale instead only cost me £45 which converts to maybe $30

Yea, well first I'm in Australia! So I haven't seen many unsecured freight trains.

But yea, my plan is to gather a mate or two, grab a guitar, save up a tiny bit of money, pack some clothes and head off.

My bad. In that case, travel to Perth in whatever way you can without paying (freedom means no money, not lots of money) and squat. Also, do you have anything resembling a walmart in Oz?

It's pretty hard to get to Perth from Melbourne for free...if you can think of a way how I'd like to hear it...

I think Propagandhi got a tad bit overrated for awhile on this forums, right when PCL came out. They are a good band, but not the greatest ever.

I was gonna say hitchhike but then I looked at the map and realised that while hitchhiking is possible, it's not exactley a direct route, though it could be tremendous fun full of adventures. Do people dumpster dive in Oz? That's just about the punkest way to get sustenance, short of shoplifting from Walmart, which I hear is dead easy.

wal mart is hard to steal from i know like 5 people who got arrested doing that **** because they always press charges but you can dumpster dive there. you can train hop to get places for free if there is a line

Aha, we've got a K-Mart!

I doubt I'd go to Perth. I'd probably just head North to the Brisbane area.

But I still need to work out how to get there. I can hitchhike, but train hopping might be hard..Unless I can find some unsecure freight train lines near Geelong or something.

But I refuse to listen to her music.

So today I was walking home and I just thought "this year is going to be amazing, and nothing is going to stop that." My friends have been kinda bitchy lately about every little thing, and I realized that I have nothing to bitch about, aside that my life has gotten a bit busy recently. I'm going to be happy that for now my life is kind of busy, and that I'm accomplishing things. I'm going to be happy when I have nothing to do. I'm going to be happy when I go to all these concerts. Happy when I'm around my friends, even when they're kinda bitchy.

And from that moment on today, everythings been great. I literally stopped to smell the flowers.

I also went up to the park to be with friends outside of a school setting for a bit.

I rinsed out tie-dye. Someday soon I will sell that tie dye and make some good money. It's nice to think of having a little bit of income somewhere along the way.

I was doing laundry, but some how too much soap ended up in there. I opened it and the soap suds were everywhere. So I blew them all over the place and had a little personal rave. It was great.

I smell like laundry. I feel so happy.
