Any clues as to when it's going to be released?
Like November? I can't remember. It's either that or sometime next year. |
UA?
this is news to me...O_O |
Like November?
I can't remember. It's either that or sometime next year.
Right. Let's hope it'll be this year, at least. |
Like November?
I can't remember. It's either that or sometime next year.
I heard a rumor that it would be around Halloween. |
No, that was it's original release date but it has been pushed back to "early next year".

Then Dave lied to us when I was at Gigantour. Damn liar. |
i think dave mustaine should make it his business to learn how to sing
|
My girlfriend saw megadeth at gigantour about a week ago.
She paid $30 along with 50 other people to meet Dave Mustaine (and the rest of megadeth) and take pictures with them. Im not sure if they had this available at all the gigantour shows, or just the milwaukee one, but they also said that the pictures would be available online 3 days after the show, which has passed, and will be available for 6 months to download. They handed her a piece of paper with the address that the pictures can be found at, and when she types it in her browser it says the page isnt available on the server. The address is http://gigantour.com/megadethphoto/milwaukee.php I don't know if or why a big venue (or megadeth) would rip her off like that, but its not available to view for her. The signing/meeting was available through FYE also. If anyone has been to this show or has taken pictures with megadeth and CAN or CANNOT view them, lemme know, or if anyone has any luck with the link, or if anyone has any suggestions She was given a number also, it is 34. I don't know what it's used for, but they wrote it on the back of her slip with the address on it. Appreciate all help, thanks. |
UA?
this is news to me...O_O
Check it out! Track listing on Wikipedia (Although they shrunk it? :() looks intense.
i think dave mustaine should make it his business to learn how to sing
Meh, I don't think he (or anyone in this thread either) really cares what you think. If you don't like it, don't listen to it, easy. Edit: I found a game called Frets on Fire, which is a PC clone of that Guitar Hero game for PS2, I've only briefly looked at it, but I'll give it a further review later. |
i think dave mustaine should make it his business to learn how to sing
It's never gonna happen. I don't really see a problem with his voice anyway. |
Check it out! Track listing on Wikipedia (Although they shrunk it? :() looks intense.
It's full of shit. I mean c'mon, the last time I checked the tracklisting it was 1. United Abominations 2. Gears Of War 3. Washington's Next 4. Vermont's Next 5. New Hampshire's Next 6. New York's Next 7. South Carolina's Next 8. Arizona's Next 9. Colorado's Next 10. Florida's Next 11. California's Next 12. Yeeehaaaa!!!! (Japanese Bonus Track) The only confirmed tracks are the 4 tracks listed atm and the song they are playing at gigs is Washington's Next, not Through the womb or some shit. |
are you sure that tracklist weren't from Uncyclopedia?
|
I just saw Megadeth on thursday and I have one word to say about it:
"Whoa" - Neo They were so great i was speechless after the show. My friend caught a Dave Mustaine pick and we were in the front row. |
I caught Glen Drover's pick at my show. He intentionally threw it to me, as we had been exchanging winks and sly grins throughout their set.
|
Guys, found a torrent with a Hi-Quality live recording of Washington's next + the gig. I'll post the song after I upload it.
|
is the torrent a Video or an audio??
|
Audio, but the quality is really good judging by the sample (still downloading). Should be done sooner or later.
ok heres the good quality version of the song http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0XDFD3CN |
super
|
I payed $30 to have my picture taken with them too. Its not a scam put in denver instead of the show you went and they have pics up from it. They are just really slow for some reason.

That's the 2005 DVD right? I wanted to get it to see Dream Theater and Nevermore. Jeff Loomis doesn't get enough credit. I was pissed when I read that Mustaine turned down Loomis when he auditioned for Megadeth. |
Well think if Loomis got in Megadeth there might no have been Nevermore.
when did he audition? |
Before RIP. He was only something like 17, and he himself says that his playing wasn't great, so I doubt he'd have lasted long.
|
I thought it was the audition for SFSGSW?
|
Yeah me too . I'm pretty sure he said that he was too young, so he hired his guitar teacher. (Jeff Young)
|
Jeff Loomis tried out for Megadeth after Chris Poland was fired in 1987.
indeed |
SFSGSW totally slipped my mind. I knew it was after Poland, but skipped a step.
|
Yeah me too . I'm pretty sure he said that he was too young, so he hired his guitar teacher. (Jeff Young)
I would ****en love to have Jeff Young as a guitar teacher. |
Wow, so Loomis was the guy Dave's referring to in the SFSGSW booklet where it says about some kid who couldn't play the solos, but he'd get his guitar teacher to teach him them.
Dave Mustaine has confirmed that the band's upcoming album, "United Abominations", will include a cover of LED ZEPPELIN's "Out on the Tiles".
Not really a Zeppelin fan, but it's still kinda cool, Mustaine's going back to where he began? |
Interesting.
|
I finally heard washington's next...it sounds brilliant.
|
Anyone have a setlist from Gigantour they want to share? I'm going tonight and want to know what to expect.
