hmm lets think, i ask people for overkill stuff, and ive never herd overkill stuff? that dosent make any sence your right, and i never said i dont like overkill cuase ive only herd one song, maybe i said i dont like that song, but i dont have anyover kill cds, thats why i was asking to trade with somebody for overkill. yea that does sound wierd your right, oh shit here comes my dad with pointy sticks.
That made absolutely no sense. Your posts are like a jumble of completely incoherent random characters. Try using some of these friendly little guys: ' " . ? ! and and honourable mention goes out to... THE SHIFT KEY!
It's still twenty mins a songs, I will see if I can download on my dads computer.
you have only heard one Overkill song?

Please, leave this thread, learn something about thrash and then come back :)
that is why i asked for a cd, to hear some of them
and thats why im in this thread to learn something about thrash

metal-militia 03-15-2005 02:30 PM

It's not difficult to download Overkill and the other bands you mentioned. The thrash we talk about here is the kind that generally the kind that other people with a casual interest in thrash don't know about.

ForiegnPenguin 03-15-2005 02:52 PM

If you have only heard one Overkill song then go buy Feel the Fire or Taking Over.

LordDargon 03-15-2005 03:29 PM

So, who likes Blood Feast?

Oh yeah, and Nosferatu (Helstar) is reminding me of Coroner. I don't know if it's the classical sounding leads, or what, but it is great stuff.

EDIT: Just so nobody gets the wrong idea, talking about Overkill and other well-known thrash is both accepted and encouraged... as long as you know what you are talking about. :thumb:

metal-militia 03-15-2005 03:54 PM

I like Bloodfeast :thumb:

Yes, Helstar are good, but i didn't really think they sounded too much like Coroner.

That's what I thought of when I first heard the album, it definately has that classical edge that Coroner uses often.

As for Blood Feast, I have "Kill For Pleasure" by them. It's quite good!

Soulseek hasn't given me problems yet, so try it out.

Ok, well, get slsk and click away (I haven't gotten any viruses on it), or if you've got money, do Foreign's suggestion.

You said you have like 425 metal albums on your PC, so you should have no trouble getting onto a reliable, trustworthy user's list.

425? Impressive.

ForiegnPenguin 03-15-2005 04:27 PM

I know I should be shot for asking but, how does Soulseek work and does is cost anything?

425 albums not metal albums, theres some clapton and beatles and led zep and that kind of stuff in there too. and i have gotten on some people list on aim but nobody with a good variety of thrash.

i had soulseek for awhile but then everytime i opened it, my whole computer frooze up. idk what happend.

No cost. You just right-click on other user's names and browse their shared files, then click what you want. Usually some users have their own set of rules for you to follow when downloading, so be inquisitive and weary when doing so.

Nothing wrong with (good) classic rock :p

As for the Soulseek problem, you might've needed to update your version of Soulseek. That's the only troobleshooting manuever I can give you, as I don't know anything else that could solve your problem.

Sadly I have only a miniscule 14gb of Space on my crap Computer. My own fault for spilling Beer on my old Laptop, even though I don't remember doing it.

I'm pissed off right now aswell. If Anthrax don't come to Australia with the Spreading The Disease - Persistance of Time line up I'll have to kill someone.

Is that even possible? :p

I have just over 10 gig of music on here, a 40 gig hard drive.

*wary :p

Anyways, I got some of Disciples of Power - Invincible Enemy off you. Sounds like the same problem as Power Trap - it just doesn't grab me. Kinda boring. The Toxic Holocaust album, however, is great.

And I have a 20 gig HD so I can't keep too much stuff on it at once. My sympathy goes out to Sensitive's uber-crap storage space.

Yeah, my old computer used to be like 600 megs. I got rid of it 4 years ago though.

I mentioned Mutilator earlier, I don't think I got any replies. Has anyone checked them out yet?

Yeah, Heathen, Viking, and Anacrusis have albums at their sites. Everyone get Heathen - Breaking the Silence and Anacrusis - Suffering Hour if you already haven't! Classics! \m/

Oh yeah, and you can get Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death, another excellent album, at lots of sites on the web. Do a search, they have no official site. (not you particularly m-m, just everyone)

And S-O posted a link to Sadus - Illusions, yet ANOTHER awesome album. Grab that too.
