The band that won shouldn't have won though but my schools bands drummer got best musician which I predicted so that was good. But there were a lot of wankers in the crowd which pissed me off.

It's a lot harder to do it in the intro to PoT than it is to do it normally. I can nail it normally but aargh it's pissing me off oh well I almost have it mastered :)

I heard if you turn your treble up it helps. Oh and you know the harmonic chords, do you strum them with your fingers in a pick or with your thumb. Or even do you slide up with you index, I'm sure thats how Jaco did it :confused:

Yeah Kinda but we haven't been to serious though. But now we can rpactise Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday lunchtimes which is sweet. We were only practicing wednesdays.

Practising at school is really nice.. we also do that! I just dropped my amp there and tadaa there we go :smoke:

But their bass amp is so rooted I mean like totally ****ed. We were going to go for a heavy approach to our music but now we're going to attempt funk rock :thumb: Just because we just got bored with metal basically.

And it will require more skill so more learning for all of us :)

You will learn a lot from being in a band.. so don't worry :smoke:

I used to post here occasionally, never really made any friends or anything. I was disappointed to find that after finishing my basic military training and technical training that my account had been deleted for whatever reason. I don't know, I guess I'm a lurker who never put more than a big toe in the water.

Open minded is OK, ideas are OK.. but discrimination etc is for me just not good (and I think for 99% of the rest of the forum). People who are like that with their ideas will get their things back at their face.. If they don't say anything about those things, they are OK =)

Ska just has the best basslines!

I remember I went to a ska concert once, it was so brilliant. I danced... and I can't dance, but it was still great.

Just some local bands, but it seemed like they were very talented.
