So I was browsing my music collection and I just popped in Lamented Souls - The Origins Of Misery.

Great doom metal, with Simen Hestnæs on vocals.
Lovely doom, powerful, fat production, nice vocals, nice bluesy references.

Yes, that's a good album.

I love the first seven tracks of the album.
The other stuff is in demo quality, so I'm not really a big fan of that.
But the first part is great. :D

Why does Lowe sound so much better on the new Candlemass than on Solitude albums?

And Lowe kicks *** in the new Candlemass tbqh, but still, he is great with Solitude.

Lowe gets so tiring on the Solitude debut. That same shrieky tone throughout the entire album really gets on my nerves. Listening to isolated songs is great but I can hardly last through the whole thing.

I preferred Lowe with Candlemass but I still don't particularly like his vocals. The only song I've really enjoyed them on was Solitude's cover of Heaven & Hell.

Idk if you have heard Through The Darkest Hour, that's my favorite Lowe's vox display. Pretty ****ing awesome.

He's ace on everything he's ever done. Best singer ever.

This, although I prefer is early SA vocals to his later.

I like him on Through the Darkest Hour the most. It's a mix of the two eras.
