I bought Protest The Hero's new album today. So, I'm listening to that right now. It's quite a bit harder than their last.

I heard a Dinosaur Jr. song on the radio called "Feel the Pain." Twas pretty good.

You'd like Dino Jr. Ian, they have "guitar solos".

I really don't like DEP, except for the EP with Patton, that's alright.

Everyone is like "omg they are so complex it just sounds like noise but its not". To me, it doesn't sound like noise, but there's no way in hell it's "so complex". And they don't freaking have jazz in them either.


Isis, Mastodon, BTBAM > Cryptopsy and Cynic (though all of those bands are good)

Some songs on their second album are pretty cool. Ya know, the ones where the singer tries to sound like Patton.
