It's on the Salival album.

It was a limited edition CD/DVD album.

Mars Volta 09-25-2004 12:50 PM

Ive just downloaded 2 tool songs: stink fist and eulogy. I like them, I have lateralus.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 01:17 PM

How is it that the Official Metallica thread has more pages than us? Possibly more regulars?

gmoneyguy 09-25-2004 01:17 PM

It's been around longer.

Paranoidd 09-25-2004 01:43 PM

And at least 50% of the posts are just people naming off songs.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 01:44 PM

So, it's like a spam thread that makes sense? Wait, thats like an oxymoron.

Badmoon 09-25-2004 02:00 PM

I just bought a Garcia picture book at my library for 2 dollars. :D

Little late, so again, I'll try to answer some of the questions.

-Favourite Led Zeppeling song: I really dig Immigrant Song, Dazed and Confuse and Stairway to Heaven (Yes, I like Stairway, so what?!)

-Favourtie Beatles song: While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Just the thought of a guitar crying because of mankind's ignorance it's just overwhelming to me as a guitarist. Also, this song has one of the best Clapton solo out there, in my opinion, and Harrison never sounded better singing a song (well, maybe in Something, but that's a whole 'nother point)

-Favourtie Beatles album and why: the Beatles (better known as the White Album). How many other groups can pull out something like the White Album and still sound like geniuses? From a Beach Boy spoof (Back in the USSR), to a children sing-along (the Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill), to a political satire with a clasical influence (Piggies) to even mocking the press because they think every song and lyric they wrote has some subliminal image (Glass Onion) and not to mention, my favourite song is in this album (While My Guitar Gently Weeps)... and that's just the first album! In the second you get the loudest the Beatles ever got (Helter Skelter), what George Harrison would do in his solo career (Long, long, long), a new birthday song (Birthday) to just plain blues, with some of the most obscure lyrics of the late 60's (Yer Blues). The White Album rocks. Period.

And... Cream RULES!

Oh, and badmoon, I think you might like this.

Badmoon 09-25-2004 02:26 PM

 Shows you why Garcia should always have a beird. Not the most beautiful guy.

slowhand 09-25-2004 02:27 PM

I have to agree on you on that one.

Woodstock 09-25-2004 02:28 PM

Agreed

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 02:29 PM

uno dos tres

slowhand 09-25-2004 02:30 PM

Has anyone here heard Rush's cover of "Crossroads"?

I think Cream's better, but what I like better on this one is that the lyrics could be understood, not like in Cream's that Clapton seems to be mumbling the words.

Color in the acid

magicbus 09-25-2004 02:33 PM

Jeez I cannot pick a favorite. I love Since I've Been Lovin You, forgot about that. Black Mountain Side is really good, especially on that dvd.

I heard the Tool cover was like evil. I'll have to check it out cause I only have Lateralus. Which is a great album.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 02:35 PM

Since I've Been Loving you is perfect on the DVD.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 02:36 PM

Let's talk about the Doors, we don't do that often...

favorite song?

The End or Touch Me.

Woodstock 09-25-2004 02:36 PM

When the Music Stops

magicbus 09-25-2004 02:40 PM

The End, Roadhouse Blues, Strange Days, Backdoor Man, Wild Child

I can't really choose. There's seriously like one song by them I don't like.

slowhand 09-25-2004 02:41 PM

Light My Fire!!

I love that song... It's just so simple, and I dunno, it's just catchy.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 02:41 PM

Light My Fire is a great song.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 02:42 PM

Who's heard that new song that was previously unreleased like "Celebration of the Lizard" or something?

Badmoon 09-25-2004 02:49 PM

Does anyone else think Garage Rock sucks?

maybe

Badmoon 09-25-2004 02:54 PM

Garage Rock is simplistic, regular rock n roll. Bands like The Strokes, The White Stripes, ect. These bands suck.

Woodstock 09-25-2004 02:55 PM
maybe
You said you would a long time ago.

I'd like to do CSN s/t.

MalcolmYoungRock 09-25-2004 02:55 PM

I used to like the White Stripes. I should be shamed :upset:

The Hives, The Killers, The Vines. Yes they suck.

I can describe their albums in one word: filler
