Oh I saw that a couple of weeks ago.
It's going to be AWesome.

Flagjacket 04-14-2006 07:27 PM

You guys are forgetting that Kevin Smith sucks now.

Danger Bird 04-14-2006 08:02 PM

Ugh, my brain is so unstimulated today. All I did today was download music, make a few unthoughtful posts on MX and jack off, so I still feel like I just got out of bed, I'm in this weird daze. I haven't actually spoken more than like 5 sentences all day. The only thing I did requiring any thought power whatsoever is route the sound from my computer into my stereo, so I can tape anything on my computer now, in addition to vinyl and CDs. It's pretty awesome.

You clearly do not drink the recommended daily amount of milk.

Went to Rasputin today and picked up a vinyl of Iron and Wine & Calexico. And found a CD of Bob's Country Bunker, which is a country/psychobilly/punk band I saw at the Billetproof car show last year, best band that played there. Regretted not buying any merch. I was surprised to find their CD, since they're not from around here.

Did it suck?

Liebensaft 04-14-2006 11:31 PM

I bet it did.

Danger Bird 04-14-2006 11:44 PM

123.

Brain Toad 04-14-2006 11:48 PM

I feel really hip and audiophile-like. I have these really old Koss over the ear headphones from the 70s-80s and they have a big 1/4" plug, and today I bought a convertor so I can plug it into my computer speakers. So now I'm sitting here with these huge over the ear headphones on listening to music.

I should take a picture. Though they hurt my head/ears a bit.

Mannik 04-15-2006 12:54 AM

I bought a pair of Koss headphones once, just the ones you stick in your ear, worst decision I ever made. I'd stuff them tightly in my ear and they'd just start falling out, worst $50 I ever spent.

My mum just made a chocolate cake.

Brain Toad 04-15-2006 01:03 AM

These orginially cost under a $1, and I think we got them at a garage sale for cheaper, so if they crap out, they crap out.

Mannik 04-15-2006 01:05 AM

Nice, take a picture.

ThisUserIsAPipebomb 04-15-2006 12:03 PM

I have to fill out an application for a visa.

It is such a huge thing.

RetiredAt21 04-15-2006 12:17 PM

I wouldn't trust myself with a Visa. I'd be in an enourmous amount of debt in a very short amount of time.

Brain Toad 04-15-2006 12:50 PM

I'm going to avoid credit cards as long as I can, ****ing scams.

RetiredAt21 04-15-2006 12:53 PM

They really are. The amount of interest they can charge you is f'ucking ridiculous.

Brain Toad 04-15-2006 12:54 PM

They're fine if you just keep one for emergencies, but most people are too stupid for that and end up using them more than cash or debit.

RetiredAt21 04-15-2006 12:57 PM

I'm pretty sure I'd end up in debt.

Send More Paramedics is awesome.

Left Over Crack is playing down here tomorrow i am ****ing excited the last time I went to one of their shows a bunch of people destroyed their van and the show turned in to this kind of mini-riot it was real fun I end up talking to them for a little while the were just sitting out front while their van was getting filled with smoke bombs and the were like who gives a **** it its a rented van and all our ****'s inside they said that kinda **** happens all the time and this was one of the more mild ending to one of their shows it was a few months before Brandon Possible's death.

RetiredAt21 04-15-2006 01:07 PM

Are they playing with anyone else?

Danger Bird 04-15-2006 01:28 PM

I was just telling my dad that I would never want a credit card. Too much pressure, man.

Ghostfire3 04-15-2006 01:41 PM

Leftover Crack is playing here with Subhumans. I'm not sure if I'm going.

Note the total lack of punctuation.

I'm seeing LoC with the Subhumans on Friday.

Danger Bird 04-15-2006 02:23 PM

Sweet, I'm not much of a LoC fan but I saw the Subhumans last month and they were great.

Flagjacket 04-15-2006 02:30 PM

I resent having Hawthorne Heights, Panic At The Disco, and The Academy Is at the top of my forum.

Brain Toad 04-15-2006 02:31 PM

Go bitch about it to MX.

Flagjacket 04-15-2006 02:32 PM

That was supposed to be an offhand jokey comment. Geez Nick, loosen yourself.
