Man there are so many beautiful chord movements you can pick up just by picking songs at random from the Real Books. More II V's than you can poke a stick at too haha.

Hey Matt, have you heard Grüvis Malt? They are mostly progressive jazz rock with funk and hip-hop influences. Kind of like Atlas Weights but with a much more modern sound. I'd recommend Malaise for a starting track.

I bought three text books in uni, all in the very first semester. Then I realized I could get by without them and did.

Yeah, they were/are one of John's favourite bands (Atlas Weights guitarist). Cool stuff.
