Gnarmageddon 05-24-2005 05:50 PM
So I'm going to be gone for like.... a week? Week and a half?
Don't worry, between the Jedi order and Bruce Willis, this forum will be the safest on the boards.

PDWAB 05-24-2005 05:50 PM

Yeah. I s'pose I should try to reach 16,000 before I leave today, it's taking forever to get these last posts :(

Renaissance 05-24-2005 05:51 PM

Just make a few posts in the mod forum saying, "Mhmm, good idea." or "I concur."
WTF is with all the Gimmick Posters.....

Ralf Shucmacher said one of the best things about his Brother that ive heard in a long time...
"He should have switched on his brain before he tried that move. One more millimetre and one of us could have been dead. Sometimes Michael is just not right in the head."

Is that Michael Shumacher? Did he almost cause a wreck or something?

F1 is actually pretty cool. I watched the Spanish Grand Prix or something a couple weeks ago. Michael Shumacher's tires kept blowing out and he couldnt finish, and a Spanish guy won.

cbmartinez 05-24-2005 05:52 PM

Hahaha, I remember the only time I ever talked to Joel online was to get Carmen Electra pr0n.

PDWAB 05-24-2005 05:55 PM

bahaha. Always there for the users, I am.

Gnarmageddon 05-24-2005 06:43 PM

No one ever comments on mine though. And I'm bored as hell.

Gnarmageddon 05-24-2005 06:51 PM

HEY! TEACHER! LEAVE THOSE KIDS ALONE!

All in all, you're just another brick in the wall.

Everybodys going to the party, have a real good time.

SOAD=SECKS!

Gnarmageddon 05-24-2005 08:19 PM

Agreed.

I love "Violent Pornography." The yodeling part is so rad.

cbmartinez 05-24-2005 08:21 PM

I'm listening to "Lost In Hollywood." It's good but I like "Old School Hollywood" better.

cbmartinez 05-24-2005 08:26 PM

Wow, "Lost In Hollywood" is really beautiful.

Gnarmageddon 05-24-2005 08:27 PM

/listens to "Lost In Hollywood"

Yeah, it's nice. I still like "Roulette" better though. One of my all time favorite songs.

cbmartinez 05-24-2005 08:30 PM

Yeah, that song is amazing. I love playing it on guitar and singing Daron's part. Steal This Album! had some incredible melodies and no matter what anyone says, it's not just a bad b-sides album, it's amazing. Mesmerize has a lot of melody but their weirder melodies, not the melodies I'm used to hearing from SOAD. I have to get used to it.

Gnarmageddon 05-24-2005 08:34 PM

Mesmerize is a lot different from their other stuff, but in a way it's still SOAD. It still has the style that they made famous, which I love.

And I don't get it with B-Sides albums. Most of the songs on it are awesome and it makes you wonder why the songs were never released on their LP's. For example: Pearl Jam had a good one (I forget what it was titled.), NOFX - 45 or 46 Songs... was amazing, and the SOAD one was also great.

There's probably some more that I'm forgetting too.

cbmartinez 05-24-2005 08:38 PM

They're just tracks they felt that wouldn't have fit well on the album.

Honestly, the only track that resembles old Toxicity or STA! era SOAD is "Revenga." Maybe "Violent Pornography" because STA! had those eccentic songs like 'Pictures." But really, the whole thing is really different. And "BYOB" is definitely one of the best tracks.

Gnarmageddon 05-24-2005 08:38 PM

I had heard a lot of people say "My cock is much bigger than yours!" a whole bunch of times, and I never even realized it was from Cigaro.

cbmartinez 05-24-2005 08:40 PM

I didn't like that song for a while but the chorus has grown on me.
