Jondur, did you play on Transfiguration?
Yes. First record where I was heavily involved in the songwriting so don't diss it or I'll duff you up.

Quite an experience recording that one. In Academy Studios with Mags. It's my dad doing the violin parts and me doing keyboards as well.

lucky! im getting their other albums when i have time today

gmoneyguy 03-10-2008 08:21 AM

The their newest album is their best. I wouldn't rush to get the older material because its kind of weak imo.

ATM 03-10-2008 01:43 PM

Missed Nadja because of lack of funds

At least I've got Iron Man/ Hounds of Hasselvander/ Ol' Scratch/ and special guest "The Ghoul" on Friday.

gmoneyguy 03-10-2008 01:44 PM

How was weedeater?

Phototropic 03-10-2008 01:55 PM
I finally heard your band. I didn't expect to like it (in case you didn't know my tastes run to old school doom, old school death, old school black, old school grind, old school thrash etc The key phrase being OLD SCHOOL) but I did.

I won't lie - you're not quite there yet but there's some great bits in there - The chorus for Temples for example. I'll have to check you out next time you gig.

BTW did you see my post about honey for christ playing in swansea next Friday? trust me I've seen hundreds of bands and HFC are one of the best live.
thanks dude, glad you like a part of it haha

cool man, where they playin? sin city?

duno if i can make it, filling in for another band on geet so tryna learn all their songs!

NP: Measured in Angles - Class Warfare

great band... remind me of Tool a little bit, without vocals and better songs... a little more infamous, underground, which makes it special. (Tool is too big nowadays, its a hype, as is NIN too :/ )

Iron Man is so badass.

I'm really close to making a trip to Ohio to see Trouble/Iron Man/Pale Divine.

I think that's the lineup, and location. There are two shows over that way with kickass lineups.

The most recent Asunder is outstanding if you skip the 25 minutes of silence. Noobs? Pretty sure I was talking about them in an MX chat and you were one of the people asking who they were.

Nuh uh! I remember I asked you about them before I'd ever heard them and you didnt know them. You probably enjoyed them first though, hah.

Regardless I hope the new **** they've got coming is good. And that it doesnt have 25 minutes of silence.

Wtf? we have never ever talked about Asunder n00b.

gmoneyguy 03-10-2008 02:20 PM

That blog (again) has a their other lp and their splits.

Tyler 03-10-2008 02:21 PM
Wtf? we have never ever talked about Asunder n00b.
Yea we have, it was like two years ago N00B. I mentioned that I found this band and their album had one 20+ minute song and another 50+. Then I mentioned that I didn't like it. Then we laughed and skipped into the fog.

Sweet stuff, I love the inclusion of the cello.

np: Nadja - Memory Leak

Txus 03-10-2008 02:23 PM

We've been talking for so long n00b, that's sweet.

I was listening to Dopethrone last night, it was pretty elite.
