I'll use the rapidshare, thanks. |
Great song Tyler, very well refined guitar work but yeah the vocalist still annoys me a bit :p Still, this band sounds much better than most of mainstream euro power out there. And of course I can hear a HEAVY Blind Guardian influence (=reminded me songs like Time what is Time <3). Have you heard any Blind Guardian?

Hooray, for a special Nuclear Blast CD! |
Sweet! And best of all, Smolski's running it :)
|
Yeah, I'm looking forward to that. It seems pretty cool.
|
Great people on that CD.
|
I really need to buy Vain Glory Opera...
|
ew, what's this avatar kiddo?
|
Summoning doooode
|
*sigh* black metal
|
:p ..poor Stoicy.
Oh, and the reason I randomly said I needed to buy VGO before, was because I had just put ont he song earlier...what a good song. |
Summoning is great.
And I must be one of the few people in this thread who finds Edguy to be a bit hit and miss. :-/ |
Are you slightly on the miss side??
I know they've hit me... |
Nah, I like them, and think they're an above average power metal band, but not so good as to keep returning discussion to them all the time. :p
|
Meh, I just felt like randomly saying I wanted to buy one of their albums :p
They're a good band. But, I need more power metal, I havn't gone power metal hunting in a long time, heh. Not inthe mood right now though. |
I think I have enough power metal to last me a while. It's getting harder and harder to find unique power metal.
|
I still have numerous bands to check out. Like Manowar and Gamma Ray
Yeah... |
You are doing an extreme disservice to your metal makeup if you have not heard Manowar.
|
^Tis the truth young one.
I need some Gamma Ray thinking about it. |
You are doing an extreme disservice to your metal makeup if you have not heard Manowar.
I've heard the song Hail and Kill :D I'll get the Kings of Metal albums sometime soon. |
No, do it now
|
No :p ...sometimes soon
I'm too lazy right now. |
What happened to me with euro power metal was bizarre. I mean, at first when you're not familiar with a genre you think everything sounds the same. Then you get into a genre and realize the differences between the bands. Now, I've grown at of it and I was left with the impression that indeed everything sounds the same. :upset:
|
Jammie. Manowar. Nao.
|
Stop wasting your times guyz... sometime soon
|
Fine. You're obviously not metal enough.
Therefore, you fail at life. |
i cant wait for Gods of War. I'm ordering it the second it's out in Germany, I can't wait until like April for the North American release.
|
^Tis the truth young one.

Yeah, Somewhere Out In Space was my first Gamma Ray album too. Very awesome songs like Valley Of The Kings and the title track.
|
So, next 3 power metal albums I'm getting:
Manowar - Kings of Metal Gamma Ray - Somewhere out in Space That Manticora one Cocaine was talking about. For me, whenever I get an album by a band that I like, I always feel the need to get more of their albums after. It's like I'll feel better or something :-/ ...it's a weird feeling, and sometimes annoying. Am I the only one who feels like this ? NP Iced Earth - Diary EDIT: ZOMG guys, I'm getting Kings of Metal now  ...if i can find it |
