Actually, EPs. Plastic Surgery Disasters and In God We Trust, Inc.
I'm actually listening to that right now. It was my introduction to them. I still wanna get FFFRV someday.

Brain Toad 04-11-2006 06:20 PM

I think the best way to listen to DK is listen to the albums in order. FFFRV was the first I bought and first I listened to as a whole.

RetiredAt21 04-11-2006 06:26 PM

I think FFFRV is definitely their best. They have other good albums, but nothing compares to FFFRV.

Lazybassplr56 04-11-2006 11:20 PM

I just got back from a little gig that was thrown by Hellcat records. It blew the hard one. All the bands sucked and sounded the same. But Tim Armstrong was there which was pretty cool.

sketchyjoe 04-11-2006 11:29 PM

It's six in the morning and I just got back from a gin and vodka drinking session.

I hate gin but we ran out of everything else.

TakeWarning 04-12-2006 04:01 AM

Gin and tonic tastes like dishwasher liquid to me.

Brain Toad 04-12-2006 09:40 AM

For the first time in all my years, a school district here is actually closed because of rain. I don't even think that happened during El Nino.

POINTLESS5448 04-12-2006 10:34 AM

ive never heard of that happening ever with the exeption of hurricanes but thats something different. how much is it raining?

RetiredAt21 04-12-2006 12:15 PM

That's the only way I'd drink that s'hit too.

BCT 04-12-2006 12:43 PM

I only remember school closing once because of rain once and it was because our school had some flooding. most gin is ****ing horrible unless it is ice cold and good gin but it is still pretty crappy and I would rather drink almost any thing else.

BCT 04-12-2006 12:45 PM

does any one actually like gin

RetiredAt21 04-12-2006 12:57 PM

It's almost impossible to enjoy gin unless you're the gruffest man alive.

Bukowski 04-12-2006 01:36 PM

My gran likes Gin.

I can't drink the stuff though, it's horrible. I don't mind vodka, but that's about it when it comes to drinking spirits.

Pirate Satellite 04-12-2006 02:20 PM

Gin is ill.

Liebensaft 04-12-2006 02:24 PM

My school closed because of rain a couple months ago. It was supposed to be some big blizzard or ice storm, and the school closed before it started, then it just drizzled. It was awesome.

Brain Toad 04-12-2006 03:38 PM

Enough that it flooded the streets. I don't know about that area, but it's been raining near non-stop for the past 3-4 weeks. In March we got more rain than Seattle.

RudeBoyStompin 04-12-2006 03:45 PM

Subhumans tomorrow, gonna be fantastic.

asdf 04-12-2006 04:08 PM

My school never closes. We have so much snow in Michigan, but no, heated sidewalks means school every day. Even in the ****tiest of weather.

Brain Toad 04-12-2006 04:10 PM

Heated sidewalks? WTF

Danger Bird 04-12-2006 04:12 PM

lol, heated sidewalks?

asdf 04-12-2006 04:13 PM
Heated sidewalks? WTF
Rich school in a rich neighborhood. The school doesn't technically have the heated sidewalks, but the sidewalks near the school where the buisnesses are are now heated. It's insane. And because it's such a small district, with no bus lines, they think it's silly to ever close the school.

The only time we had a "snow day" happend half way through the day. During my 4th hour the power went out and when it didn't come back on for the rest of the hour, we were released. The whole day was filled with signs protesting the school being open, and a huge list of all the schools closed in west michigan (every school but ours) and signs saying "if you don't close the school we will." Most people thought a student cut the power, but it was a car crash.

Brain Toad 04-12-2006 04:15 PM

I've never had school canceled because of power outages, we just kept on going.

Danger Bird 04-12-2006 04:23 PM

Me too, it pissed off a lot of kids. But I didn't have to do my powerpoint presentation.

Nick why do you have so much Clash on soulseek if you hate everything after their s/t?

Brain Toad 04-12-2006 04:42 PM

Because I go on treks to get a band's entire discography, I've done it with a few bands such as Ramones, DK, Black Flag, Minor Threat, Minutemen, The Doors, The Beatles, etc. I wanted to collect all the albums and try them out and came to the conclusion that only the s/t is good.

Makes sense. It's better than somebody making an uneducated opinion. HAve you ever heard their version of Armagideon Time? You might like it.

Brain Toad 04-12-2006 04:52 PM

I don't know, I remember albums more than songs.

I absolutely loathed the Clash before someone told me to get the UK version of the s/t. I listened to Janie Jones and realized they aren't that horrible of a band and I ended up buying it on CD, at a time when I never bought CDs.

Danger Bird 04-12-2006 04:53 PM

Armagideon time was on this 10" they put out. It had weird versions of London Calling and a reggae song called Armagideon Time, by Willie Williams. They had some dub stuff on the B-side.

D & V 04-12-2006 04:56 PM

it's not my IMAGINATION, I'VE GOT A GUN AT MY BACK

Danger Bird 04-12-2006 05:13 PM

I forgot how much the second half of Frankenchrist rules.
