About 23 days or so till I finally get my laptop. The novelty of the idea is now nearly completely lost to me after the many delays but still. So it's only a w0t.

Gaslight am i right in thinking you're a regular in the alt/indie forums? I seem to remember seeing you back in my days as a pseudo-regular there...

I dont know what to do for my birthday... Im stuck for what to buy.

Possibilitys:
Just get a load of money and put it in my account for when I need it
Get a load of money and save it for a laptop
Buy a new computer
Buy a new budget-y bass
Buy a new cab
Put it towards a bunch of xbox games
Buy a nokia 6600 and a 512mmc card for it

Stuff i intend to buy with the next few months wages:

Leeds festival ticket
New Surfboard
Vintage Fretless
Loadsa CD's
Then start saving up for a car :thumb:

Personally i'd save the money Jamie, keep it for when you drastically need something...

Stuff I want:

A new electric guitar, an acoustic-electric guitar. (Not priorities, just for fun.)
Drumkit and lessons. (Definately not priorities, not even this year, maybe not even next year, just eventually.)
Boss Tuner pedal. (Priority.)
A little bag thing that keeps cold drinks cold. (Priority.)
A bigger bag to carry stuff in. (Priority.)
New skate shoes. (Priority.)
Oh and tickets to gigs, Art Of Fighting next Friday in Sydney, and tickets to the Cockatoo Island festival for the Easter Long Weekend.

Yeah, I used to be a kind of regular poster there. I don't post there a lot though these days, not on an everyday basis or anything.

Ahhh thought so, strange the things that pop into my head. That used to be where i hung out, first 1000 posts came from there methinks. Not a patch on the bass community mind...
