Orange is a cool theme, but they need to make the backgrounds of the posts dark grey because the white just doesn't look that good i don't think.

The best skin on PDF is the green one.

OH yes.. mixing values. that gets VERY nasty and isn't done too often.

Mixing single values gets retarded hard. that's such advanced rhythmic stuff, nobody plays with it or talks about it.

that is to say beyond the everyday 8/triplet/16th rhythms

try linear building patterns.

1 of each in succsession

quarter, trip quater, 8th, trip 8th, 16th, quintuplet, sextuplet, septuplet, 32nd and back down.

So you play 9 notes, with decreasing values to each one. has the effective sound of a ball bouncing, very closing releated mathmatically (shocker)

I went to my college interview yesterday, which was okay. Got to go the new project music which is bigger and better! And i saw hot fuzz which has to be one of the most awesome films i've ever seen. "We've got two twats with a ****load of cutlery, what do we do sir?"

Dave*Grohl 02-23-2007 04:46 AM

Dire straits kick ***

Dave*Grohl 02-23-2007 06:30 AM

Do you guys think Rubin "Hurricane" Carter is innocent or not?

GhostNote 02-23-2007 07:45 AM

What he do?

Dave*Grohl 02-23-2007 08:12 AM

He was a famous boxer in the sixties and he was convicted for life because of three murders. It has never really been proven that he did it nor that he didn't do it. I too lazy to explain

That sounds awful, in the best way possible. I don't even know where to start with that.

I can see you're online. Go check out my two audio threads in G&M!

Jezen 02-23-2007 08:42 AM

I just discovered for myself an easy way of using odd groupings of notes to slide smoothly from jazz to latin feels. Now I just gotta start expanding on this, and practice it a little so I can add it to my vocabulary.

TimJim 02-23-2007 10:58 AM

trysthedrummer 02-23-2007 01:12 PM

Guys where could I buy those Sonor 3007 kits from??

Retarded Chipple 02-23-2007 01:16 PM

A shop.....

.....A shop that retails Sonor products is generally a good place to start.

trysthedrummer 02-23-2007 01:17 PM

There are no shops around here. I ment online to have a loook and prices.

Retarded Chipple 02-23-2007 01:20 PM

Hmm...ADCdrums?

I'm not sure if they have em online yet but give it a few weeks and they may have em up.

Or google.uk em?

Sunshine 02-23-2007 01:31 PM

Hahaha.
My band came up with a name.
Pro-Paco Overload.
Wtf hahahaha.

Stickman Sam 02-23-2007 01:32 PM

My guitarist quit my band, that bastard.

~~

EDIT: One of my guitarists.

the_pure_drummer 02-23-2007 01:33 PM

my guitarist is a ****.

Hows everyone doing?

Sunshine 02-23-2007 01:34 PM

Our bassist doesn't know the band name yet.
Nor does he know we have a gig at the end of March.
Nor does he even really know he's our bassist.

I have to call him today and see if he can swing by so we can test him out...more like, so we can be sure he'll want to play. Bass players 'round here are hard to find.

Stickman Sam 02-23-2007 01:36 PM

We don't have real bass players around here, we have to convince our rich guitarist friends that if they buy bass guitars it will broaden their musical horizons and they'll get famous like Yngwie.

~~

Sunshine 02-23-2007 01:38 PM

Hahaha.
Nobody here can afford to just switch.
Most people can't afford to have even guitar/bass and guitar/bass amp in the first place.
But there's all these sucky *** guitarists who think they're cool.
And then there's a bunch of metal/hardcore bands, most of which suck.
And then there's us, but nobody knows that yet.

the_pure_drummer 02-23-2007 01:39 PM

Hello sunshine, help me.

Sunshine 02-23-2007 01:52 PM

Help you how?

the_pure_drummer 02-23-2007 01:53 PM

MattMarlow 02-23-2007 01:55 PM
