you can actually die as a result of not having benzos when you're addicted, or at least experience seizures and end up with parkinson's disease

my one friend has seizures so bad that she's foaming at the mouth and knocking shit over when she doesn't have klonopin

you can die from alcohol withdrawal as well, it's only in very extreme cases of opiate addiction that withdrawal can kill you, and even that is more caused by the physical trauma of long time use
