**** you too.

Haha, you make me laugh.

Anyways, I got a couple tracks off the new CBK last night, because the download was going insanely slow for me to get them all. It is indeed very good from the three tracks I've heard. I picked random songs, but my favorite of the three has to be the song entitled "Final Goodbye". It is excellent. Can't wait for this album.

Ive been listening to Bridge to Colace, Comeback Kid, and The Warriors lately, and needless to say, I'm starting to really like this hXc stuff

stateofalert 02-01-2005 03:34 PM

also Embrace was one of Mackaye's band which he didn't want to be labeled in too much depth.....thus he thought labeling it "emocore" which made absolutely no sense to him was ****ing ignorant. which well...it was. genres I think are made way too far into depth. When I ask a friend of mine what a band sounds like that I havn't heard and they say "metalcore" or something, I get pissed....'cause I'd rather have someone compare them with a band. know what I mean? so before you go off and say stupid things, "blindly qouting your hero" for instance, think about what I said."just another one of Mackaye's bands" which was progressively getting more musically complex. Then after the Teen Idles, Minor Threat, and Embrace, (maybe another one or two that he was in for like a week?) he reached Fugazi. Which was well....butter in comparison to Minor Threat. get it?
11th: The Locust/Ex Models/Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower and also a Blood Brothers show. Going to see local hardcore bands instead.
Are you kidding?

AndreTheHyena 02-01-2005 11:32 PM

Locust/Ex-Models/PTBUtET would be amazing. I'm seeing Yip Yip and Beep Beep this month.

Did you go to that tour or something? Because I saw all 3 of those bands together and bought their respective CDs also.

BuddyBigsby 02-02-2005 12:09 AM
Are you kidding?
- I only really want to see Locust.
- Plot play all the time
- Ex Models are freaking irritating
- Never got really into Blood Brothers

The local show is a really good lineup. Make Move, Final Fight, Graf Orlock, Carry the Casket, Fortunate Son... oh boy *salivates*

Let's Chop Cats! 02-02-2005 12:46 AM

With Honor was amazing.

I just got home.

I'll explain the story tomorrow.

SubtleDagger 02-02-2005 12:58 AM

Oddly enough, I just discovered I'm seeing Bane and With Honor in March.

I hope it was on vinyl.. they sound better on vinyl.

Oh, and BuddyBigsby, you should definitely go see the Plot if you want your crotch groped.

Just kidding, although it does seem they're kind of forcing taboos to disappear which is a bit annoying.

Ex-Models rule.
Locust suck.
Blood Brothers suck.

So it's a 50/50 awesome show.

I was browsing the B9er a few weeks ago and saw all of them in a post. Someone sent me all their cds, and I LOVE them. Youth Attack was on that tour too, but I think they only have vinyl out... correct me if I'm wrong.

I bet that was a great tour.

young, loud and andrew 02-02-2005 05:58 AM
Locust suck.

Seriously. I don't like their music at all.
