The polka forum.

Danger Bird 04-02-2006 12:36 PM

They made a Polka and Washboard forum, punk was closed for a few hours, and Brain Toad pretended that the Community thread and some others were deleted by a disgruntled ex-MXer.

Ghostfire3 04-02-2006 12:37 PM
ok i wasnt here so what was this big april fools joke?
Basically, Nick "deleted" the Community Thread, the Forced Listening Thread, the What Are you listening to now thread, and the problems/suggestions/questions thread and he said we got hacked. And everyone was freakin' out cuz we got hackzored!

POINTLESS5448 04-02-2006 12:38 PM

haha that sounds a but harsh but funny.

RetiredAt21 04-02-2006 12:41 PM

It was pretty funny. What happened to punk I mean, not the polka forum, that was gay.

Danger Bird 04-02-2006 12:44 PM

yeah, those were funny for about 5 minutes then they just got annoying.

RetiredAt21 04-02-2006 12:46 PM

Yeah, the people in the polka forum were being real gay.

Brain Toad 04-02-2006 02:24 PM

The Washboard forum was better than the Polka forum.

YDload was modded as an April Fool's joke too.
And someone (I think plexi) sent out email to a bunch members disguised as DBJ saying they were being considered for a mod position and if they wanted it, to make a thread about it.

POINTLESS5448 04-02-2006 02:37 PM

hah thats prety funny too. did they ever make those threads?

Brain Toad 04-02-2006 02:43 PM

Yeah there was a few, there is one in the Site forum, and I think one in Sputnik and there was a few in The Pit (probably on the 10th page)

Danger Bird 04-02-2006 05:53 PM

Are The Exploited good?

Liebensaft 04-02-2006 05:55 PM

Good is relative.

I slammed my finger in the cash register today. It fucking hurts.

Do you like the Exploited?

DaveToopes 04-02-2006 05:59 PM
Are The Exploited good?
Don't bother. The Weakerthans are better anyways.

Danger Bird 04-02-2006 06:01 PM

I'll check them out.

Brain Toad 04-02-2006 06:04 PM
Are The Exploited good?
If you like street-punk they are essential. Not great, but still essential.

Sebek 04-02-2006 06:36 PM
I need to check them out.
I could send via AIM sometime if you want.

Flagjacket 04-02-2006 06:38 PM

I like street punk but I dislike the Exploited.

Ghostfire3 04-02-2006 06:39 PM
I like street punk but I dislike the Exploited.
Mee too.

Brain Toad 04-02-2006 07:10 PM

277 albums were nominated for the top 100 so far. Hopefully it'll stay that way, because I don't feel like dealing with that many.

Liebensaft 04-02-2006 07:41 PM
Do you like the Exploited?
Not really. I'm not too into street punk in general.

DaveToopes 04-02-2006 08:48 PM

Nobody should be.

Except Lower Class Crucifixion is amazing.

Brain Toad 04-02-2006 09:13 PM

Lower Class Brats > The Unseen

DaveToopes 04-02-2006 09:14 PM

LCB are slow and boring I think.

EDIT: I'm having the first thunderstorm of spring right now, it's so awesome.

Danger Bird 04-02-2006 11:56 PM

Anybody else love The Evens?

POINTLESS5448 04-03-2006 05:15 AM
Lower Class Brats > The Unseen
hell yeah! lcb > streetpunk in general.

DaveToopes 04-03-2006 08:10 AM

Nah, Oxymoron are better than LCB I think.

POINTLESS5448 04-03-2006 08:51 AM
