yea i did really like it

first time i thought a lot of em were rushed then i just listened again now and found myself agreeing w/ most the tempos i cant quite put my finger onwhat it was i think its between the end and start of the variations theres no space, like in some theres not enough time maybe its not even time but in most of em u just let the chords die naturally i think these need to be cut even in some of em they are still ringing quite loud when u launch into the next variation i dunno if its intentional

the tremolo i didnt think was great i like that 1 much slower but there were tehnical issues im sure u can play it a lot better and then it might work

the other one where u and tilman strum the triplets was slower than my idea but i really liked it its about the feel and articulation on that 1, i think those semiquavers gotta be nice n light i think it was perfect how u did the repeated notes semiquavers on the 3rd string in those 3rd and 4th bar id go for that feel in all of it

the only other part that really bothered me was right before the fugue somethin goes bad and its kinda unfortunate like theres a wrong or missing chords and the timings messed up i dont have my music probably just a mistake in that performance

so yea i tihink the big picture came thru well theres a lot of detail u can work on if u keep it in ur repertoire now and its important to keep developing ur technique so its more stable and u dont lose the music on these demanding pieces

yeah the framing of the pieces was inconsistent, put that down to inexperience with this kind of material

nice yea thats nuts if i played somethin like the ponce id need at least a card on the stand tellin me the order of the variations i like to play w/ the music cuz i had a couple killer memory lapses before its a bitch shrinkin it and stickin it together n shit like that tho workin out the page turns

a lot of guitarists are really good at memorizing stuff i think its linked to us bein bad at readin music
