i just played a song. and ive realised thats how i play. i use to play with my thumb on my pickup , but i seem to play with my thumb on the sting above the one im playing. wierd...

Ive noticed something. I just bought a 100watt amp. This thing is loud , wich has gotten me to think.... how loud must a 1000 or even a 2000watt amp be?

Just like you enjoy not having your hand stuck in one spot, I enjoy having somewhere to be anchored. It helps me dig in a bit more, and it makes sure that my hand is steady, as my hands shake all of the time.

Wattage is a measure of power, not volume. Volume is the amount of air an amp moves. The more air moved, the louder the amp is.

But usually those amps would be pretty **** loud. :p

oh ok. So saying that I bought a 900 watt subwofer for my car would mean that it has 900 watts of power, and that the more air in my trunk means more loudness?
