winds of plague and miss may i on warped tour
saw this coming
I'd only want to see Winds of Plague, not a big fan of Miss May I. MONSTERS released their new album today, if anyone is into them. |
winds of plague and monsters are both terrible
|
yes they are. isnt monsters the band that was produced by frank from emmure,.....disaster
|
hahaha, were they?
my band opened for them, they were seriously terrible singer just kept going "allentown, punch somebody in the face!!!" |
yeah he has his own record label now haha
bunch of wiggers trying to do metal |
AND they think it's hardcore for some reason
|
Not to start any pointless arguments, but why do I find a lot of people hating on Emmure?
|
Generally it's because they're completely lazy and sloppy live, paired with how unimaginative and over-done the cliche of their music tends to be. Plus Frankie's lyrics and vocals are some of the funniest/worst ever.
Where in PA are you from? |
Emmure are terrible that's why.
|
And it's sad to say
That I I STILL CRY TO THAT BAYSIDE CD EVERY DAY JUST CHECK TRACKS 8 AND 9 Then call me back |

Where in PA are you from?
Yeah, I can understand where you're coming from with that. I still like them either way, but your reasons are good. I live on the western side, near Pittsburgh/Butler/Border of Ohio.
Emmure are terrible that's why.
Good reason. :thumb: |
they went from pretty good to okay to absolutely awful with their albums. when i heard felony, i could have sworn i was listening to korn
|
They're generic as fuck and all their songs sound the same.
Vocals are so lol too. Then there's the ripping off of The Acacia Strain too. |
also theyre gay
|
Mega gay.
|
Yeah, I can understand where you're coming from with that. I still like them either way, but your reasons are good.
Word man, I still kind of like Goodbye To The Gallows, but idk I can't listen to anything else, or even that often.
I live on the western side, near Pittsburgh/Butler/Border of Ohio.
Oh word, I'm on da east side right by the border of Jersey. |

" I don't understand how though, can you get into details? I'm curious.
also theyre gay
Awesome.
Mega gay.
More awesome.
Word man, I still kind of like Goodbye To The Gallows, but idk I can't listen to anything else, or even that often. The west side is not fun, a lot of unemployment and places not hiring. My family and I plan on moving sometime in the Spring, not entirely sure where yet, but I'm hoping out of state. |
I love Pittsburgh, idk.
And Emmure ripped off The Acacia Strain in the sense that they try to sound like them a lot of the time. And Rusted Over Wet Dreams... |

Well yeah, Frankie can't touch Vincent, that dude's vocals are immense.
|
Hey Mappy, I know you will love this.
http://soundcloud.com/joshua-tree/3-11-mix U swimming yet? |
Despised Icon.
Sucks that they broke up. I really like all their albums. Great band. |

Yeah, Emmure's vocals sound almost nothing alike to The Acacia Strain's vocals. That's probably why I don't understand as to how Emmure ripped out TaS, and TaS is more actual deathcore than Emmure ever will be. All their songs are more ' metal ' than just fast paced vocals, and random breakdowns.
Despised Icon. Sucks that they broke up. I really like all their albums. Despised Icon was an awesome band, way more talented than the majority of their peers.

Emmure even said their first album was them trying to emulate TAS and FASSW.
i consider emmure to be way more deathcore than TAS tbh. |
because they suck more i get it
|
no... because they have way more deathy parts and way less hardcore influence.
|
Mappy did you see my post?
Stop ignoring me; embrace me. |
Been listening to Acacia Strain more recently as they're touring with Whitechapel over here soon. Never used to like TAS but it's growing a bit.

Source? Not saying you're lying, just curious to read it.
if you listen to TAS older stuff and then emmures stuff, you will definitley hear a similiarity
I have all Emmure's stuff, and I can see where you're coming from. But from their most recent album, they don't sound like them.
Been listening to Acacia Strain more recently as they're touring with Whitechapel over here soon. I remember seeing an Emmure video where the vocalist was wearing a school uniform or something and pretending he was a boxer or some shit like that. Delivered hard on the laughs.
|
Been digging this band a bit this week:

have you ever listened to 3750? seems like something you would def like a lot |
Listening to 3750 now. Haven't been listening long but the vocals are the best aspect of TAS. Just saying.
|
First two albums it's the music imo, especially on the first one, Vincent didn't really know what he was doing yet at that point.

Even though I like the band, I would probably laugh too.
Listening to 3750 now. Haven't been listening long but the vocals are the best aspect of TAS. Just saying.
That and their lyrics. |
