EDIT: Name change granted. :D
Your quest has been forfilled

:p

lol mathias, did you like Game Over?

RCA 07-14-2005 10:38 AM
These name changes are going to confuse the hell out of me.
They confused me at first, but then I figured if I got mine changed I'd have some insight on who-is-who.

Vio: Thanks a million for the Holy Grail. I shall grant you eternal life!

MAthiAS 07-14-2005 10:39 AM

I can't play it because its in .rar :(

In The Sign Of Motherfucking Evil!

MAthias: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar342.exe that one I think.

MAthiAS 07-14-2005 11:00 AM

Oh beautiful man, thanks a ton.

DisposableHeroes 07-14-2005 11:22 AM

I heard the original Carnivore guitarist died on Monday, RIP

RCA 07-14-2005 01:57 PM
I heard the original Carnivore guitarist died on Monday, RIP
Oh, what a bummer. That band was a heavy dose of metal and humour at the same time. :(

RIP
I heard the original Carnivore guitarist died on Monday, RIP
Why is it that when some of the most talented guitarist pass away their death is so unsung? I mean Dimebag was his equal in my opinion but people are still jib jabing about his death, while this death is new to me.

RCA 07-14-2005 02:12 PM

Pantera was pretty mainstream, so the information is expected to affect many people over a wide period of time.

RavenousMetalist87 07-14-2005 02:33 PM

I like my name the way it is.

NP: Razor - Cross Me Fool

Canadian Pride. XD and I'm not even Canadian. w00t.

Anyways, yep, I don't know what else to say other than I've been busy again, which totally sucks because I haven't been able to get out and goto the record shop to see if I missed any thrash.

I have a license too, and I still haven't gotten my *** out of the house XD...other than summer school.

/waits for everyone to make fun of me. :upset:

When you have the chance to get out, go check and see if the Sacrifice rereleases hit the shelves.

I'll do my best, o' great kn0wer of the mighty thrash metal

I should do some research first before I go out and waste gas. Besides, FYE is only 5 minutes from school, so I can drive over there.

;)

Yeah, that'd be the smart thing to do, especially because of the current prices of fuel. It's highway robbery!

Unless of course you live in a small town in Iowa, then it would be secondary access road robbery. :D

Very true. Takes me 25 min. to get home, and I already checked Tower and FYE. No finds, ****it x_x

Luckily, Penny Lane isn't far from my trip home since I can take a different route to stop there and put in for a special order. I don't like dealing with the goons sometimes when it comes to special orders at the big chains.

Unless...iTunes has it...hmm...SoulSeek...lol

That reminds me. I need to get SoulSeek sometime tommorrow.

Come on Dragunov, dont let me down... you must have heard Solstice's 2nd album! I need to listen to it and i cant find anyone on slsk who has it.

congrats on the licence RM87 :thumb:

Yes. Persection Mania is badass though. Well worth the money I paid for it. Bombenhagel sounds better on there than it does on "Mortal Way of Live".

It helps me when I try to work with stuff dealing with war. Sodom's war lyrics are really good.

I wish I could write like Onkel Tom XD

I've had my license for over 2 weeks though, but the real card came in the mail last Saturday. It's not hard to drive with the rest of the stooges that probably passed because their examiner felt they can't drive for ****.

Edit: 1,200 post...w00t :chug:

FatalEnergy 07-14-2005 04:19 PM

Woah......everyone got a name change....a bit confusing now.

Nope, I haven't. I'll check reviews for it though. Solstice is a good band, so it'll probably be worth getting.
When you have the chance to get out, go check and see if the Sacrifice rereleases hit the shelves.
Only Torment in Fire is out so far. The others are coming within the next few months.

Corporal Compendia 07-14-2005 06:32 PM

You know guys, I want to like Decibels more than I do... but I don't. One of the biggest problems is this hack for a drummer they had. Rich Oosterbosch or whatever the hell his name was... The loss of Mills is very noticable... this guy is just awful.

yeah first album is great, i just want to listen to the follow up before buying it.

I've done stuff to my router so i can browse people on soulseek, so hopefully i'll be able to download off everyone in here now! :thumb:

Yeah, the drumming wasn't too spectacular on that album.

metal-militia 07-14-2005 06:46 PM

Dragunov, are you on soulseek at the moment?

RCA 07-14-2005 06:51 PM
Dragunov, are you on soulseek at the moment?
Nope. I'm in Germany, so you won't be able to browse me until August 2nd or so.

how come you're out there?

Ah, sucks. Send a message to ogmetal and ask him to add you, because he's got more stuff than I do.

Remember JMetallica? His Soulseek name is ManicThrasher, try to browse him as well.

OVER ****ING KILL!

Ok. Well, yes, I have to agree, it must be great over in the home of the greatest metal festival grounds. I want to go, but eh, alas I can not. If I did go, I'd have a blast.

As for the Corporal's comments on Decibels, yes, Rich wasn't spectacular. I listened to some of it more, and sometimes, he has his good moments. He did a good job on Goof Soup as well as the re-recording of Instant Death. However, I think Dave and Rob shun through the whole album. The Game is a cool song if you ask me. Rob sounds...super pissed off like a drill seregant at Boot Camp.

Jump into the cargo hold of an airliner that is heading for Berlin. I'll meet you there.

Stowaway heaven! XD

Someday before I die, I'm going to make the effort to get over to Wacken when they have a kickass fest. It'd be a great b-day present to me because if they keep having it on the same dates they've had it before, I'd be happy to live and tell my story of how I went to the best metal festival in the world.

I should take the time this year to increase my thrash collection with all these reissues coming out.

RCA 07-14-2005 07:40 PM

That would be one kick-ass birthday present!

Yeah, all of these rereleases are great.

2,500th post. :chug:

I have og and Jmet, but he's hardly ever on.

Whats the big music shops in America? I need to know which ones to go to.

RCA 07-14-2005 07:44 PM

Tower Records, FYE, MediaPlay, and Best Buy. Most of them have decent metal selections, but most of them also suck. Your best bet is to look for second hand record shops or smaller record shops.

metal-militia 07-14-2005 07:46 PM

congrats on 2500 :) edit: i added an extra 0 :upset:

Are there a lot of 2nd/ smaller music places?

RCA 07-14-2005 07:49 PM

Unfortunately, no. :upset:

metal-militia 07-14-2005 07:52 PM

ah well.

What sort of stuff do these music places have? over here my local one has some better stuff like Dark Angel, Forbidden, Xentrix etc.
