perriwinkle, I'm glad you suck at pasting links...the only album I wanted was slaraffenland and you managed to paste the same link twice for another band...

perriwinkle 05-17-2007 10:39 PM

i'm uploading it again. it is a really good album

p.s. dont download Serial Killaz it sucks

bleep_bloop 05-17-2007 10:47 PM

perriwinkle 05-17-2007 10:56 PM

every time i listened to it it got worse and worse until i couldnt even make it through the opener anymore. i still think some parts are cool and all but its very repetitive. so like as an album, hell no

Also, Robert Wyatt's "At Last I'm Free" might work. That is, if you're a fucking dirty Red. You're not a fucking dirty Red, are you?
haha, i will check them all outtt.

Right now I'm sortof leaning towards Ceremony by New Order, but that Radiohead might be sweet.

I also hate radiohead...and it's not to be like any more hip than the rest of you...it's just flat-out "i don't enjoy the music..."

though liking a band you don't enjoy and hating a band you do enjoy is kind of a pointless argument...the bands aren't similar u knaw?

Oh my god, Battles were SO good tonight. It was in a tiny little venue and I got to the front row, the drums were almost literally set up on top of me. Everything was just so close, and so precise. The drummer is absolute machine.

I can just imagine how great that would be.

I hope they come here before everyone reads the pitchfork review. Although I fear it's too late.

EDIT: So I just looked, and it turns out they're playing a 19+ show in Vancouver. A week after my 19th birthday. Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll yeah.

Eliminator 05-19-2007 01:28 AM

yeah man, i dont want any of those poseur pitchfork fags coming to MY show

It's not so much that as much as shows selling out and being overcrowded and such.

Eliminator 05-19-2007 02:09 AM
