Brain Toad 03-29-2006 04:17 PM
nice avatar nick, hard to believe that was a year ago already
He is all-encompassingly missed. I'm going to listen to both his CDs today plus a bootleg I have of his.

sketchyjoe 03-29-2006 05:14 PM

I just got back from V for Vendetta. It wasn't very good.

I've been having a lot of fun today researching this old bar that used to be the home of the punk scene in my city. It makes me a bit sad that I'm too young to have gone there (although my parents had gone there for a few shows). It's funny to read things like "even though in the year before it closed it had no toilets, only holes in the ground."

Liebensaft 03-29-2006 06:39 PM

Holes instead of toilets is really fuxing punx.
Holes instead of toilets is really fuxing punx.
Damn right.

I love the word fuxing. I used it in teh 'hubub the other day.

Glitterati 03-29-2006 07:40 PM

I used the phrase "mad fuxxored" the other day because I heard it in the pit. My friend almost died laughing.
I think you mean greatest cinematic achievement of all time.
I'm applying for a job at a movie theater soon. If I'm lucky, I can see it on opening day

np: Urge Overkill - Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon. I'm in love with this song.

I had a feeling it was gonna be bad.

POINTLESS5448 03-30-2006 10:40 AM

has there always been an alternative and indie forum?

sketchyjoe 03-30-2006 11:43 AM

Uhh... yeah.
has there always been an alternative and indie forum?
Yeah. I don't really like too many of the people that post there. There a couple cool people, but they are few and far between.

Liebensaft 03-30-2006 02:58 PM

Joe posted there. He's too indie for them anyway.

Flagjacket 03-30-2006 03:00 PM

MC Sketchy did some rap battles.

Rise Me Up 03-30-2006 03:29 PM

Haha, I'm so ashamed to be from Tennessee:

I have become addicted to Soulseek. I download stuff from BrainToad twice a day. Thanks alot MX.

sketchyjoe 03-30-2006 05:33 PM

A car chase just went past my window. How awesome is that?

DaveToopes 03-30-2006 05:35 PM

Using Soulseek for the downloads is lame. I'm all about the chat!

I still haven't figured out how to find hubub.

Nevermind, I just suck.

sketchyjoe 03-30-2006 05:40 PM

No. I heard a siren, which isn't unusual but it sounded really close so I looked out my window in time to see a scooter bomb round the corner really fast with a police car in hot pursuit.

DaveToopes 03-30-2006 05:55 PM

Crazy Londoners. I have seen a car chase once, only for a second. It was pretty awesome.

Jessizzle 03-30-2006 05:57 PM

I hate how we always get pulled over, just cause we are just a bunch of teenagers in a car, they assume we are drunk dirving.

DaveToopes 03-30-2006 05:58 PM

I hate when police eye you and follow you around stores.

sketchyjoe 03-30-2006 06:01 PM
I hate when police eye you and follow you around stores.
What you do then is get a trolley and fill it with loads of stuff then take it up to the exit, look around shiftily and just leave it there and run like hell.

Flagjacket 03-30-2006 06:03 PM

I usually take my hoodie off when I go into stores, so I have it wrapped up under my arm, and an employee always follows me, and if I notice them, I don't even looka t them and shake my hoodie out and put it back under my arm, and then they get away from me.

Daniel! 03-30-2006 06:03 PM

World/Inferno and the Subhumans in a few hours. I'm getting so pumped up.

DaveToopes 03-30-2006 06:15 PM

That'll be an awesome show.
