Is it just me or are most of the Bass forum metal fans? I mean i like the odd bit eg Metallica, Sabbath, Motorhead. But i'm an indie/alternative kid and there don't seem to be many :upset:

I used to be into Alternative/Indie a lot more when I was 12/13, but now I'm not so much, though i still enjoy listening. Now all the little kids like Slipknot though, so the world of music sucks. Nevermind, through Slipknot and numetal, they'll find good bands.

I like tons of music that isn't metal, but I also really like metal.
Give me examples of bands you listen to and I'll tell you what I think, if I know the bands.

Not only do I like St Anger, I also like KoRn. Okay, I deserve to be burnt. Untouchables was a big blip though. Eww... Issues > rest of KoRn stuff

I used to like Korn. They were the first "metal" band I liked, besides Metallica who I've always liked.
I even saw Korn live in 2001 on the Sick & Twisted Tour, with Staind and Mindless Self Indulgence opening.

Yeah true, it's just that everyone's main influence around here seems to be metal, i feel quite isolated what with everyone bashing on about Cryptopsy etc. The Futreheads are an indie band (similar to the hives musically) but with a lot of vocal hamronies etc. Good stuff, check 'em out, i know a lot of people who hate that type of stuff yet love The Futureheads :thumb: Seen 'em live three times too, and met 'em :thumb:

My computer science teacher likes bands such as: Metallica, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, etc...
