oh yeah sorry about that "Sixteen Blue" by The Replacements Intro/chorus: "Six Teen Blue" is just high G - D - C, then high G - D - low G G-------------------------------- D-5-----------------5------------ A---5--3--33--33-----5---------- E-----------------------3--33--33 The verses follow a similar pattern of alternating between G's and C's. You can also spice it up by occasionally pulling off to a lower note (F for the G sections, and B for the C sections). G--------------------------------- D--------------------------------- A------------------3-33-3p2-3-33- E--3-33-3p1-3-33----------------- these arent the exact notes, just figure out the rhythm yourself! Before you're done with the C's, you have to play a few high G's as well for the last part of each verse G------------------------ D----------------5-----5 A--3--3--33-3-3---3-3--3 E------------------------ Then for the pre-chorus ("your age is the hardest age") go to D. add a fill with the high A (the 7th fret on the D string) then go back to that low G. then the second time you play the D, you'll drop to an open A string, then B, then C for the parts like "you ain't laughin are you??" G--------------------------------------------------------- D---------------7-5-----------------------7-75----------- A--5-55-55-555---------------5-55-55-555------0-02-23-3 E-------------------3-33-33-33--------------------------- After that you'll be at the chorus when he says "Six Teen Blue" and then you just do the chorus thing I said. That's all you need to know. |
sweet, thanks so much man.

hmm, I'm back.
My HS graduation is Saturday, and I've been stuck doing the slideshow for our class. All I have left is to add the music, but I'm coming up with nothing. As much as I would like to do something along the lines of Wes Willis' "Fck You", I need something typically soft and sentimental. Any suggestions? I would hate to resort to Green Day. |
My grad last weekend used "Yeah" by Lil' Jon for the grad slideshow.
