Are you fucking kididng me? NYC has a great doom scene, man.
Fine, then Rockland County has no goddamn doom scene. It's not like I can go into the city whenever I please. Which sucks nuts... |
Yeah, At Giza is the only OM song that knocked me off my feet. Flight of the Eagle doesn't compare.
I like both songs quite a bit.
Downstate Illinois has a great doom scene courtesy of me.
I'm going to need to get a hold of some WoR then. |

He may have meant actual doom metal, u no. |
At least one album is up on last.fm @Rattle
|
I plan on listening more but I just checked out the song Deflagration. The riffs are great, and I love the guitar tone. When you guys find a good vocalist then you'll be completely ace.

Got this message from Trouble's MySpace and thought it was spam at first:
How ya doin’? Just wanted to say, “hey,” and to apologize for not keeping up with all of you on Trouble’s and my own Space. As a matter of fact, I had to blow mine up and start over. I hope that we can all still be friends. Please, be patient with me. I’m not very good with computers. I mean we get along, but I would never go out for a beer with one and besides, it doesn’t help matters none that I don’t have a computer right now. Recently, I visited both sites at a friend’s and I found that a lot of you were asking me how I was doin’. I really appreciated it and I started to wonder if there was a reason for your concern or was it just your way of saying, “hi.” The truth is, I’ve been feelin’ like **** for a very long time. My mind, body, and soul felt like they were all goin’ in different directions. Then one day, I met someone who said they could help me become one again, and for the first time in my life, something is working. I thought that I would turn you on to it if you need so for your very own customized, natural treatment for your mind and body, (you’ll need God for the soul part), go to www.marketamerica.com/senseijen, and take the Nutri-Physical. I’m not all the way there yet. My body has some catching up to do, but it’s getting better every day. I know that everything is goin’ to be okay. Wouldn’t it be nice if we all started to feel good about ourselves and each other? Peace & Love, Trouble Eric P.S. Dream, Hope, Imagine, Create, Inspire, Believe, & Become. |

Definately spam.
|
Yeah. You can always tell it's spam if they're incredibly general, promoting something, and not addressing the peson who they're sending to.

So...
Esoteric rules. Listening to Metamorphogenesis, scary, psychotic, slow and brooding funeral doom. \m/ I'm considering buying this: Merrell/Baker/Jordan Nagual "Long playing ambient dronescape pitting the combined efforts of Todd Merrell on shortwave radio and electronics, Patrick Jordan on shortwave radio and processing and Aidan Baker (Nadja) on guitar. Recorded live in 04 in Hartford. Comes packed in heavy stock center open sleeve with environmental mirror image landscape artwork courtesy of Seldon Hunt. Pressing of 600 copies." - A. Sample I heard was really cool. |
So...
Esoteric rules.
hell yeah dude. when we were talking about them a couple weeks ago I said I had just gotten and listened to the first disc of the Pernicious Enigma, but I wasn't really sold at that point. Yesterday I remembered it had a second disc and I was blown away. |
The production on the earlier albums takes away some of the listening pleasure, but it's still good.
But really try Subconcious Dissolution Into The Continuum or Metamorphogenesis. Awesome, awesome albums. I'm so looking forward to the new CD, it's also a double album. :D |
Wait...shortwave radio is an instrument?
|
In noise/drone/ambient music...yes!
|
Wow...
Next I think the dudes from Sunn O))), Nadja, and Earth are gonna get together in one ****in' big supergroup and create something called Concerto for 4 Woodchippers. |
wow...
