I dont kno why I just cant get into Kayne. I cant remember (I think it might have been Amit) who said that not liking someones music because of their personality is stupid. But I really cant help it. I think his attitude and cockiness has really thrown me off from him.

Yeah that is pretty stupid, if that's the only reason you don't like him. But if you don't particuarly dig his styles either, then I can understand why his arrogance would put you off completely. I got into Hip Hop music through Kanye though, so I'm forever grateful for that...I would have missed out on so much great music.

Only when he was with Eric B. I have 18th letter, which is just Rakim by himself, and its not terribly bad just not very good either.

I never really liked Eric B a whole lot- It was hilarious how in the video clips he'd just stand there in the same pose the whole time.

I agree the 18th Letter could be better- but he's bringing out a new album this year -supposedly- so we'll see how it goes.

I really do suggest everyone check out Styles Of Beyond, 2000 Fold & Megadef. (They're working on a third album right now)

And Apathy, also. He's featured in a few of their songs and seems rather good, I'm getting his album now.

Yea definantly check out Apathy. He is part of the group Demigodz, and a very talented MC.

Lately I cant stop listening to People Under the Stairs.

I love them. They were my big discovery of last semester.

Not a huge fan of Jay-Z, although I heard some of his songs he goes into the studio and basically freestyles.

So I downloaded these Sage Francis albums which are collections of live material and B-sides and stuff.

[b][i]So[/i][/b] good. The live stuff is with Gruvis Malt who bring a whole new dimension to the songs. Any Sage fans really need to get me on AIM or something for these:
