Highly unlikely. Breathing in and getting the pitch and volume he does would most likely cause major damage to his vocal chords. And since he's been doing it for well over a decade with no issues, there's most likely just some falsetto technique he discovered and mastered.

I thought Dani's voice was really horrid on their new release...the music is quite excellent though.

I am really into Cradle Of Filth's cover songs, especially Hell Awaits, and of course Hallowed Be Thy Name, if you havent heard those two, check them out.

He is a great vocalist, he does every good live (From what I have heard)

They sounded pretty perfect live, better than on record, to me...

On the dvd he sounded great live.

I'm wondering if the man has sung before in the band? Would be interesting to hear what his voice sounds like when he uses it to sing instead of scream.

I'm not sure, I know they have some chicks sing on the Nymphetamine album.

They come alive when playing live as far as I'm concerned, I've seen them three times now and have always left feeling really impressed.

I was just about to mention this. The band just finished recording a cover song for a movie soundtrack, and Dani said in the last update that all the choruses have clean singing from him, the first time he's ever sang with CoF. I don't care about the song much, but I'm really interested to hear what his singing voice sounds like.

His voice is really unique. It's not "perfect", but hell, it's good enough, and who else can sing like hiim?

Get Midian for now. I have that and Nymphetamine, and love both.

I have only heard the ones available on their website. I think it was something like "her ghost in the fog". I sounded alrite, definatley not the worst I have heard but I never really felt like getting of their CDs. Also, no one know owns any of their stuff so I really haven't been 'exposed' to their songs.

Meh, I love her Ghost, but it's not even the best track on Midian.

Cradle kick *** first of all. They are my second favorite band besides Metallica. They are all very good musicians although granted, Adrian is not nearly as good on drums as Nick Barker was but he is still fairly talented. And I really like Dani's vocal style. In fact I can actually do it myself. And although I agree that their older stuff was a bit better, I own all of their records and I enjoy them all. And I'm really looking forward to Dani using clean vocals on their next record.

I used to like CoF a lot before but now I just like the "The Principle of Evil Made Flesh" album, especially Summer Dying Fast. I like Dani's voice with a few exceptions (when he starts screaming words really fast - those parts suck big time). Also like his partner's voice (I'm not sure what's his name - he sings in Summer Dying Fast and A Dream of Wolves in the Snow)

Nope, it's just Dani.

There's a different girl who sings on that, other than Sarah. She didn't come in 'til later.

If You get a chance to listen to the nymphetimine album go for it. It is the only album i've got of CoF but it is awsome. Medusa And Hemlock. \m/

thats a good song,thats the only album i have by them as well i think guilded c u n t ,nymphetamin fix, english fire, absinthe and frost are good songs to :p
