Sup dudes. What's up with this new community thread?

Kurtz 04-11-2005 08:53 PM

I need to finish up on last minute homework due tomorrow. Procrastination inevitably picks up on you, but I'm too foolish to be aware of that.

Later thread.

The old one closed down because it was getting way too big.

I played trumpet and baritone for about 3 years.
I played piano for 2 years.
I now play guitar for just over 2 years.

Illmatic 04-11-2005 08:55 PM

guitar: 4 years
harmonica: about a year

Hi thread, I'm back. Everything's back to normal within my relationship.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll probably remind you then. I just download some Dead Kennedys and I am enjoying it.

Are Everclear a Wu Tang side project? :p

BoboTheRagingHobo 04-11-2005 09:02 PM

Guitar - around 4 years, and little over a year and a half of playing seriously.

Hush!

I like that song.

Nice little nostalgia trip.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-11-2005 09:09 PM

So, I went snowboarding a couple times while I was in Utah. (Park City, to be specific) I got the most wicked sunburn/tan. You can see where I was wearing my goggles and my nose is beet red. :p

Sweet.

Does anyone know the address you send tax returns to? I can't freaking find it.

Illmatic 04-11-2005 09:13 PM

Jake: kinda random...but cool, I guess.

Also, Tim Wakefield is a cold-blooded Yankee killer

NP: Will Smith - Miami (oh hell yeah)

pigonthewing82 04-11-2005 09:14 PM

Oh man an end of a era is coming for me this weekend I just found out that I'm going to have to get my hair cut for the first time in almost two years. :upset: I was really hoping to see how long I could go before cutting it.

pics?

And any reason why you're getting it cut? Do you need to get a job?

Bartender 04-11-2005 09:16 PM

I've not cut mine for quite a while, either. It started out of laziness and cheapness rather than a desire for long hair, though.

My mom bought me that cd

Illmatic 04-11-2005 09:18 PM

Tim Wakefield is a longtime starting pitcher for the Red Sox, and he flat-out owned the Yanks today in the Sox' home opener, where they got their championship rings right in front of the Yankees, and raised the championship banner right in front of the Yankees.

So sweet.

Illmatic 04-11-2005 09:19 PM
My mom bought me that cd
I got that CD when it first came out and never stopped listening to it. God I loved it to death. Even though I was moving on to more "serious" rap, I still had a weakness for Will Smith

Nah I got no pics, but the reason I'm getting it cut is my lawyer and parents think it will make me look more presentable in court.

I still want to know where I mail my godforsaken tax return that I have slaved over for the last hour and a half.

So who ended up winning the R&Mer and Noob of the month competitions? I missed out. :D

Oh I thought I posted what happend last week, well guess not, but boy I guess I have a story for you guys then.

Ok so there is like this hang out place at an abandoned factory that everybody goes to at my school somtimes. Well my sister and I wanted to see what was so great about it so we met a bunch of my friends there. When we got there the place was totally trashed by sombody and we were gonna leave, but just got to talking for a little. Then like a half hour later we hear sombody come in screaming. Now when sombody you don't know comes into a place you have never been before, you run, as we did. Then as we were driving away we thought well mabye it was a cop, so we got off the road. Then my mom called my sisters cell, and it was a cop, and they met us and took us down the the station. We were qustioned and printed and mugshotted and realased on a 1000 doller bail (ten percent of the original and brought down from 2,500) Yeah and they are trying to pin the vandlism on us. So I'm being charged with Bruglery in the third degree (being in the factory) Criminal liblity (the vandlism) and running from an officer, all of witch are felonies, just cuz I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Illmatic 04-11-2005 09:31 PM

Fun!

I should know about getting hassled by cops. Because I'm black lolol.

In Maryland? My record was completely clean, so they basically just told me not to do it again. If I get caught again, then the real punishment comes.

Dr. Jake Destructo 04-11-2005 09:38 PM

Heh. I've never been busted for anything. Mainly because I have never really done 'anything' to get busted for.

Nah don't worry bout it man you didn't know.

Yeah I love how I'm not old enought to live on my own or drink, but as soon as a break the law all of a sudden I'm an adult and can be charged as one.
